When traveling, it’s nice to have some familiarity of home. We stopped in Cracker Barrel for that very reason — easy, know what you’re getting and quick. Not this location. We walk in to a fairly empty restaurant and the 2 hostesses couldn’t figure out where to seat our party of 5. After we were seated, one waitress took our drink order and another brought them. Neither introduced themselves nor were they the least bit friendly. One waitress stood at the table next to us and talked to her friends apparently. They were out of chicken salad. The waitress had no straws and she didn’t remember to bring any even after we asked. We had to repeatedly ask for refills.

A no-brainer for a good southern style breakfast. Make sure to bring your indecisive wife, you might be able to get a sample of their famous cornbread. If not, it’s worth buying anyway.

What can be said about Cracker Barrel that hasn’t been said a million times before? It’s just a terrific place to come with a family to get good food at a great price. Whether you’re in the mood for breakfast at any hour of the day, or some biscuits and sawmill gravy… the menu is vast and the staff at any location I’ve ever visited has been very friendly. The gift shop also smells so good it makes you want to have a seat and relax for a while… it’s also has plenty of retro candy from yesteryear to bring you back to a simpler time. Cracker Barrel will always remain one of my favorites while on vacation. Keep up the great work! :-)

Normally I like this place. Tonight not so much. Chicken and dumpling platter was great. Service was not on par. Order was taken, food delivered. Check given and told to have a good night. Not once was I asked how was everything. Tea glass sat empty. No refill offered. Was not even asked if I wanted desert. Need to do more to earn that tip… Updated: Went to pay bill. Cashier asked me how my meal was. I told her. She asked me to wait a minute. When she came back, she told me that he manager apologizes for and the meal was on them. I had not expected that. Normally don’t say anything. But appreciated their wanting to make it up to me.

The two stars were really for our server who was very friendly and checked in on us often. However, 2 of the 4 entrees were terrible and the other 2 dishes was edible but not terrible. Sirloin steak — overcooked, dry(didnt ask for well well well well done) Hamburger steak — overcooked, dry Sampler– edible, chicken and dumplings was doughy Roast beef entrée– actually edible Look at our posted pictures to show how terrible it was.

We were sat right away and greeted friendly and professionally by a very sweet server. She explained all of the specials to us and then took our order. Our drinks came out right away and she was very attentive to us. The place was pretty busy but it didn’t deter her from taking good care of us. There must be good management at this particular location because I haven’t seen it run that smoothly in other Cracker Barrel experiences. The cinnamon apples can use some work, hopefully they can start using fresh vs canned apples, but we will for sure be back! This is a great spot for tourists who want a consistent breakfast product. Thanks again!

We stayed and silver lake resort and this was the closest breakfast place for us. What’s good about this place is that, they have more vegetables option than just cheese and oil which is pretty good. And they also served fresh maple syrup which was impressive.

What… No Meatloaf… I tried to replace it with another dish but the disappointment won out. No Meatloaf. Argh.

Cracker Barrel restaurants are great to take out of town visitors too. They aren’t everywhere. At least we know they aren’t in the Pacific Northwest. So, that’s where we had to go and take folks who had just arrived from the Seattle area. There were six of us and we were happy there wasn’t a long waiting line. We had immediate seating … but, that’s where it stopped. The server at the next table was involved in a long conversation with other guests and the conversation seemed to go on and on. Finally we motioned, for another server. From there on, the service was excellent. We had a variety of items at our table and no complaints with the food at all. Everything was served fast and perfectly. We enjoyed chicken, vegetables, pinto beans and catfish. Other than at the first, everything turned out perfect.

My family can always agree on going to Cracker Barrel for dinner. Everyone that works there is incredibly polite. Our server last night was friendly, polite and very attentive. She always had something nice to say about everything ordered. Food here is country cooking and family favorites. I always order the same thing, the haddock dinner. It’s corn breaded and such a large piece of fish that I can never eat the whole thing. Along with their dinners, you get to choose three sides such as corn, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, etc. It’s plenty of food for a good price. You’ll also receive a plate of corn muffins and biscuits. But stick the the biscuits, they are fluffier than the grainy muffins. For dessert I had the blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. It was sweet and the cake on the bottom was warm and just the right type of mushy. Other things to note, you can get breakfast anytime!!! Get the pecan pancakes! Plus they give you tiny maple syrup bottles that are warmed! Once your meal is over check out the general store. They have old time candy! Best part of this year are the pies they sell and the Christmas ornaments. They always change the store items based on the season so there will be something different each time you go.

Cracker Barrel is a must stop type of place. The reputation of this place very high. Once you gp into one all the rest are exactly the same… EXACTLYTHESAME! The only thing that’s different is the high quality staff from employees to the managers. By different I mean the great and eclectic personalities! If your looking from some old school, home hearted fresh comfort food… this is the place! The meatloaf was so good and the buttermilk fried chicken has me wiping the drool off my phone right now. All the sides are where it’s at. The mac and cheese and the mashed potatoes. They also have some cinnamon apples or something… those are so good. It is very comfortable in here to eat and relax. The ambiance is soothing and it real does feel like home… if home was back in the early 1900’s!

We were just introduced to this restaurant a few months ago by a good friend. We’ve been hooked since. I love the pecan pancakes with turkey sausage. Best I’ve had. They really try to accommodate you here and the ambiance is super cosy. We will be back anytime we visit the states. Had breakfast at the Kissimmee location today and it was delicious as usual.

We decided to go out for breakfast on our last day in Florida and choose this place because none of us had ever been there. We were a group of 5 and waiting about 30 minutes for our table. We figured it was worth the wait since it was pretty busy. I honestly wished we would have taken the wait into consideration and left. IHOP would have been ten times better. Our service was sooooo slow I regretted waiting to be seated immediately. I choose the a breakfast plate that consisted of biscuits and gravy, grits, hash brown casserole, eggs and ham. The ham was so over cooked it might as well have been beef jerky. I should have taken a picture, not appealing at all. The other plates were also mediocre and bland. We were all fairly disappointed. The server also never came to check on us and refill our drinks or ask us if we needed anything else until we were all done. The concept is nice and maybe lunch and dinner aren’t as bad but I’ll never visit one of these restaurants again.

This was our first visit to a Cracker Barrel and we left understanding the appeal. Outside the dining area was a general store of sorts which had interesting knickknacks. The staff were all very friendly and seemed to have a perpetual smile on their faces. The food was delicious and plentiful, so even though the prices are not the cheapest around, they are quite reasonable. I want to have a Cracker Barrel near me. Honestly, I cannot stop thinking about their greens. Until next time!

BREAKFAST here is so good. The eggs are so fresh and the bacon is always cooked so well. There is always a wait so be prepared for that and the food takes a long time. If you are in a rush, not the best place to go.

Everything was fine… Except, you know, all the food. What the hell Cracker Barrel, you are not supposed to let me down. I don’t have one of you where I live so when I am able to visit one, I want it to be as awesome as I remember. This didn’t meet my expectations, it ran over them with a truck and then flushed them down the toilet. The storefront, the restaurant, and the service were fine. Clean and nice and the people were friendly. Nothing bad to say about any of that. It was the food that was absolutely terrible. I can’t remember a time when I had a more disappointing breakfast. The eggs were bland and cold — and I know eggs are usually kind of bland, but this was a whole new level. I’m sure they were made fairly fresh, but they tasted like they were made days ago and then reheated. And the bacon was disgusting — no joke, fast food bacon from a place like Carl’s Jr. is much better than this bacon. This bacon had an odd flavor and was really tough to eat. Like it kind of hurt to chew on it. The grits were kind of gross, but I think grits are kind of gross anyways so that might be unfair. But if you can’t make a decent bacon and eggs breakfast, then what good are you? I will definitely not be coming back here.

I frequent many Cracker Barrels. This one is really nice. All the staff was super friendly. They were quick with the food. Thoughtful and considerate to the needs of us in a rush. The store area was clean and not overly cluttered. The bathrooms were clean which is always a plus. The food as usual was delicious and cooked to my specifications. All in all this was a great experience at this location.

With 3 different generations in our family getting together for dinner, picking out a place to eat is sometimes a challenge. We’ve been doing our family dinner at this location once a month and it’s great. Good olé’ home style family cooking. Breakfast is available at all hours! They do not serve alcoholic beverages and that really helps drive the family feel. You absolutely need to have the raspberry lemonade here. They also serve Stewart’s Root Beer and Orange Soda. I’m from upstate NY and Stewart’s is a wonder convenient store that I miss, so that’s a nice choice here. Customer service is polite and friendly. I love shopping in the store after my meal to kind of, «walk it off» a little. Great location for being on a busy road.

I came to this restaurant for breakfast with my family while on a road trip which is really the best time to visit one. It’s a great country American traditional homely family style breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner spot. I love how they allow guests to rent books on tape for cheap and then they can be returned to any Cracker Barrel location in any state They serve breakfast all day. I went with a lighter menu option and ordered the yogurt fruit parfait. it was served in a little jar with blueberries, strawberries, granola and almonds. it was really yummy and under 500 calories. the coffee is really yummy and free refills. the service was quick and attentive to refill needs. if you want a nice wholesome country dining experience while on a road trip this place is absolutely perfect.
