Did I walk into Latin America coming to Plaza del sol? I went here one weekend driving my cousin on a journey to find a place to get her eyebrows threaded. She uneventfully found the place and got the job done. The mall was eerily quiet and had many closed store fronts. There were only a few big retailers with a lot of smaller clothing shops and a few odd stores such as bird shop, various Asian item store, a juice bar with no apparent fruit, and a sad looking Chuck-E-Cheese like arcade. Perhaps I’m judging a place by appearances and the quality of each service is excellent.

Plaza del Sol also known as the Osceola Square Mall or as I like to call it, The Flea Market’s Long Lost Brother. Walking into this place you’re so confused and so lost because you don’t understand what this place is supposed to be. Immediately, to your right hand side there is an arcade with bounce houses and karate classes. Walking in to the main«lobby» I must admit I was surprised by the décor. It really does look like a small Latin village and it’s super cute(pretty much the only reason I’m giving it 2 stars). But then as you start walking in through the halls, you see that the stores are nothing more than like flea market type stores. There’s your $ 1+ store, your pet store, your lingerie store, your«loss weight fast» store, your China stuff store, well you get the idea. Then there’s this huge technical college in the middle of the plaza! What is this place?! So the whole area is surrounded by college students in scrubs… Anyway, there’s a food court a couple of more of those eh stores and that’s it. There’s only like 3 big stores there that I think is the only reason people go to this place, aside from the college that is, but other than that there is no reason to go here. Nothing great or exciting or good to see here.
