If you’re not Hispanic, DON’T GOHERE. They act like you don’t exist. I never go here because of how I’m treated but all I was getting was a fried chicken family meal, so I came here because it seems like it would be simple to get right? Wrong. I’m standing there waiting to order and there’s a Hispanic woman behind me, the employee who is also Hispanic, skips right over me even though I’m next in line. Finally she asks me what I want and I tell her, she asks the sides I want and I tell her. She gives me one and then walks away to help someone else, I wait for about 5min and no one else comes to finish my order. Pathetic.

My husband purchased a cake for my birthday when we tried to cut the cake it was frozen hard like a rock so embarrassing that all the guest had to wait a good hour to take a bite. When I called bakery manager he got all defensive and told me all their cakes come frozen. Very upsetting that publix is known for fresh more healthy items but no apology. I been shopping at other publix and I have to say this one is the worst of all.

If you are looking for Latin products, this Publix Sabor has it all. I am not sure why you don’t see more of these Publix stores, they are very convenient for those of us who have Puerto Rican wives that constantly cook delicious Island dishes. The wide selection of products is just the beginning. They offer a Café where you can order pastries and Cuban coffee. The bakery is next to that and they have more of a selection of traditional Latin goodies such as, guava pastries, croquetas and fresh Puerto Rican and Cuban bread. The deli in the back has fresh Pork(Pernil), Arroz Con Gandules, Platanos Maduros and much more. Everyone speaks English as well as Spanish so don’t be afraid to go in there, this isn’t Miami. This store located right on Osceola Parkway and Buenaventura Blvd which is about 3 minutes from Florida’s Turnpike and 5 minutes from SR417.

Publix Sabor is very unique apart from other publixes! When I go to Sabor, I feel very comfortable as if I’m shopping at a friend’s market. Every staff member have smiles on their faces and they are so eager to offer their services. They always acknowledged me and ask how I’m doing today. The atmosphere in here is very positive and happy. I love their fresh produce and delicious prepared foods !

This Publix brand store is called Sabor and it’s a great place to pick up some ingredients/brands that most major grocery stores don’t carry. I typically stop in for chorizo, yum! The meat counter has a bunch of different cuts that you won’t find at most other stores. The produce section has a more varied selection than typical as well. Great variety of groceries, friendly employees, and all the comfort of a Publix!

Yes it’s Publix we all love publix but this one has a special café with some pretty addicting items. –The puerto rican coffee in the café is downright savoury and delicious. Very caliente so watch out not to burn yourself. Stir it for about 2 minutes it’s well worth the wait. They need to start a franchise with that coffee so it can potentially knock starbucks off the track! –The cubano sandwich is pressed specially just for you. The panini presser here creates magic and gives all the sandwiches a perfect crunch. If you want start the day off lovely then purchase a coffee with a sandwich and you are good to go.

This is a Latin publix. Of course, everything one would expect to find in any Publix is available, but there are some noticable differences. The sinage is in both English and Spanish. There is a huge selection of ethnic foods and products that are not available at a traditional store. The café, as well as the reusable shopping bags are branded with Publix Sabor, and the Latin magazines are also available. I am happy to see that Publix has taken notice of the market in Kissimmee and has created this brand. Publix Sabor also has some stores in Miami and other locations as well.
