Kittery Maytag Launderette

I love this Laundry Mat. I just wish there was a store closer to make chance easier when doing Laundry. I love doing Laundry but I need 5 dollars in Quarters. That is a lot of Quarters.
It’s very clean here. It’s open 24 Hours, which is really good.

On an extended travel and hotel has no washer or dryer so decided to try this place. Clean on the inside and everything works, a plus from my younger and poorer days. People here are friendly and there is even a couple on the inside playing cards while doing the laundry. Good place.

So our dryer decided to stop working the other day and the new one doesn’t get delivered for a week. I decided to stop by the Kittery Laundromat because it is right down the road from my house. The facilities are clean and there are plenty of machines. It is open 24 hours, which is very convenient for all. The washers range in price. Starting at $ 2.50. The dryers are 6 minutes per quarter. They do have change machines which come in handy. If I had any complaints it would be that they do not have a bathroom. The owner (who was very friendly) explained it is because they just do not have the room for one. I completely understand. It was no hassle to go to one of the local cafes right down the street. I hope I never have to return because that just means my machines are broken again. But if I have to go to a laundromat again, I will definitely be coming here.

I just moved here from having my own laundry inside, so I had never been to a laundromat. This place is going to set the standard high for anywhere else I go! Clean, well kept, plenty of machines. It does have a retro kind of vibe, but its cute and I feel safe and comfortable here any time of day. No problems out of the machines whatsoever.
If you are near Kittery and need laundry done, the Maytag laundromat is the place to go (at any hour!).

I was just visiting family for the holiday weekend and needed to do some laundry. This was simply the closest laundromat but by far the cutest I’ve ever been to! Machines are clean, new and plentiful. At my local place we don’t have special settings for delicates or lightly/​medium/​heavy soiled laundry so I was even more impressed. Met the owner who was super nice and friendly and even offered me a free snack from the extras not in the vending machine. Has a fun retro vibe with machines individually named after people and places. They have lots of parking, tables, chairs, a sink with colorful rewashable cloths instead of disposable towels, a magazine rack and free WiFi. The only drawback was that I really needed a bathroom and I couldn’t find one. I don’t think they have one for customers. I suppose that is a pain to upkeep. Other than that, I totally recommend and would happily go back! Thanks Kittery Maytag Laundrette!
