I’m seriously torn here. The drinks were really creative and well made, but the waitstaff just didn’t seem to care. I hate bringing down a rating based on service, but this was just so bad… 9:00 on a Saturday, place is about half-filled, if that. Décor is great and modern, and playlist was pretty good as well. Server comes over and we order drinks and ask for waters. She heads off to the bar… And we wait… And wait… And wait… About 15 minutes later we get waters for about half the table, but the server explains«we don’t gave enough cups for more right now»… Excuse me? Seriously? Okay no problem, we’ll wait it out. Another 10 minutes and our set of six drinks comes to the table. Now I know when things get busy, craft cocktails can’t be rushed in order to keep the quality … But 25 minutes seems a bit long. Maybe it was a fluke. So a 7th friend joins us and places an order and just for fun, the engineers at our table decide to time how long it takes… Hey in Klamath Falls, you have an abundance of nerdy engineers to do things like that(send your thanks to OIT). 33 minutes. 33 minutes to get a drink. We observe the server just chatting away with her friends seated at the bar and when someone suggests getting another round, we suggest going somewhere else. Which we did. The drinks are great, and the bartenders themselves seem to know their craft. But the servers just didn’t seem to give a blank. So if you go, sit at the bar. If you can’t sit at the bar, just leave.

Ok, first let me say — this is a BAR. A MARTINI bar. I read some of the reviews and no, this is not the place to take your baby. No, this is not the place to have a glass of wine. This is a nice place to have a really yummy martini. We hit happy hour so we enjoyed less than listed price(Bonus!). The service was fast. The drinks were good. The food, not so much. We had a couple appetizers, and they were meh. An example? When we asked our server what was in the Spring Rolls, she replied«Well, they come prepackaged, so it’s hard to tell». We had Chicken Satay and Steak Skewers. And, they were ok. But, I’d be back to try other items. Not the place to go for dinner. I’m giving it 4 stars, really more like 3 because of the mediocre food. But I think other reviewers(as stated above) based their reviews on misunderstanding what this is meant by Martini Bar.

My husband and I just recently moved here and were thrilled to see a martini bar– or any restaurant in the area that was more fine dining. However, we found out quickly enough that we were not welcomed! We had our 1 year old with us, and he was not allowed. I do hope that this establishment will open up for families. I know that we would go there often.

We have reason to visit KF frequently. This is this the best place to have a snack and a drink. Right downtown part of a few businesses keeping downtown alive. Wait staff is young and friendly. Service is good or better. Drinks are average but reasonable. Recommend a visit if you’re staying in town. Food is an excellent value.

Really great bar with really great food. Was in Klamath for work and ventured away from the hotel to find something good. Prices were great. Food was great. Bartender was super friendly. I’m not sure what other Unilocalers are talking about.

A group of friends and I tried most of the martinis on the menu and they definitely need some revamping. Some were good, but most just terrible. We could tell the waiter didn’t know what he was talking about because he had no good recommendations at all. The atmosphere is alright. Interior desgin was a half ass cheap job. No music which kills the mood. Coming from a big city I got so excited, finally a nice place to drink in this small town and was very disappointed.

I never give two stars, but a few of the other reviews painted too rosy a picture of this place. Abiance is very martini bar, and the martinis were delishious, but don’t go there for the food. The tots were straight out of a bag, very little seasoning, the steak skewers were dry and when I asked where the side sauce was, the waitress said they just swizzled” each piece in the sauce already.(Ohhhh… okay…) Poor waitress was clearly frazzled as it was a busy night and the place was quite understaffed. Most tables looked to be waiting at least 10 to 15 minutes before food orders or drink orders were refilled. If you are a bar looking for a market on the drinking crowd, at least have two bartenders on a Friday nite. Hope they get it nailed down. … has potential.

I’ve been here for 2 hours and gotten a total of 2 drinks and 4 pieces of asparagus! My husbands dinner can 30 mins ago and he has been eating with his hands the entire time because we have no silverware. My dinner came an hour after I ordered! It was spring rolls. Nothing extravagant. Drinks were great but the service was terrible! Could be my first and last visit.

Our server was awesome. Martinis were good. Food not so much. Steak skewers were dried out and pretty flavorless, steak salad was mostly lettuce with super small cubes of meat, arugula salad had a nice flavor but needed more goodies, mostly just a big plate of arugula. Was it the worst food I’ve ever had? No. But its a little less than meh. It’s a nice place for a conversation and a cocktail, but think twice if you’re hungry.

It’s really not a tapas(European) place. More like SE Asia tapas. That said, my dinner mates really liked the food and the drinks were outstanding. We had chicken with peanut sauce, steak skewers with lime, spring rolls and a couple of others. Nothing left because everything was good, everything is usually good for me but my dinner mates are hard to impress.

Tried to come last night(they’re closed Sundays), but happy to be here tonight. Started with a slightly dirty vodka martini — yum. Shared the Cajun tots — very good and not too spicy. Had two small plates each. Too much food, but everything was great. We’ll come back.

Probably the only really good place in this town… Friendly service not even twitching their eye brows, when you order one of the more sophisticated drinks when they are busy. The drinks were really good, the prices reasonable.

The martini bar is a great choice here in Klamath Falls. Their food is always good: I especially recommend the Cajun tots(although they can be a little stingy with them sometimes) and the artichoke dip. Delicious! They also have excellent drinks… But I would especially recommend their mojitos and the Spicy O martini. Incredible! Only downside? Their service can be inconsistent, but the food and drink quality is well worth it.

This place rocks, by far one of the more upscale establishments in town. A few drinks here and then head on over to the Rooster for a nice meal.

I have been to the Basin Martini Bar a few times and finally got around to creating a review. Every time I have visited, I have received good service from clean employees, great food and drinks that were mixed very well. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing after a hard day at work. It’s not a cowboy or dive bar, yet there is not a pretentious dress code. Anyone who says this place isn’t great must be crazy! The mojitos are well made and everything is VERY reasonably priced. Someone who says otherwise clearly hasn’t been to a large city and paid $ 20 for one. I met the owner Amy and she was an absolute delight to talk with. I wish more people in Klamath would come here, because Klamath needs a place like this! Great for groups or small gatherings. I highly recommend the Basin Martini Bar.

I LOVE the Basin Martini Bar. One of the very few classy places in Klamath Falls. Good food and a very nice waitstaff. I especially enjoy the different variety of martinis! The Spicy O is my favorite!

Quaint, clean, elegant & relaxing. The bar stools are the bar are really uncomfortable though. Plus I felt like I was invading another group’s space by sitting at the bar. I had a lemon drop. Being a lemon drop connoisseur(lol), I give this lemon drop a 3. It was a bit dry & muddled. The appetizers are small, as they should be — I’m not a fan of making small meals out of appetizers. The food is good. The service is quick.

The mac & cheese and fish and chips are epic! they also have very tasty martini’s with a great selection(it is a martini bar, so those that were complaining about a shortage of other kinds of alcohol, look at the restaurant’s name.) my wife usually orders the Waikiki or snickers martini’s, and I’ll usually order a black and tan. the service can be kinda slow sometimes, but worth it.

A Martini bar! Was so excited! Who’d a thunk? In Klamath Falls!!! Okay, we don’t drink Martini’s — it’s bad enough we drink wine non-stop(starting at 7 p.m.!) But so what? So what is the single worst wine list I have ever laid eyes on in my wine-drenched restaurant-filled life. It reads like this(I hope I still have a pic to post): Chardonnay $ 7 Pinot Gris $ 6.50 etc… and so when asking the server for a wine list she recites the limited(to one type of wine per category) list. No joke. The appetizers on the menu were appetizing and we ordered two just to get us going. The scallops dish was tiny but tasty enough. The chicken satay had two serious flaws — 1) so little sauce as to not qualify as a satay, 2) the chicken was burned. LeHubby and I are the types to go in to a place like this and drink a few rounds and order a number of small plates. It was a cool place, we liked it, we wanted to stay, but we don’t drink martinis and their wine offerings are stupid and the two apps we had were meh, so we went to the crazy Rooster restaurant joint that was a near-disaster. This bar receives three stars because the server was adorable, the place looked great, loved the booths(the entire place was done, clearly, by Pottery Barn or the equivalent, but to good purpose, so what the hell), and it has BOATLOADS, Klamath Fall BIRDLOADS of potential, really truly kids, we’ll come back and shovel money at you(so we can stay in KH and go to Lava Beds National Monument AND to Crater Lake) and tell all our friends — but you gotta step up the wine by the glass list(and let a wine distributor — NOT the ones selling to Safeway — help with this.)
