Moore Park

First time to Klamath Falls — Awesome parking right on the lake — parked backwards — flipped the hatch open — enjoyed the fresh air and breeze. After that, went across the street and hiked the nature trail resulting in great views and pictures. Relatively clean bathrooms too… I noticed there was an RV septic station for a $ 5 donation. Great job Klamath Falls!

Everyone needs to check this place out when in Klamath falls! Great views right next to the lake for anything you want to do. Great for families or couples who just want to enjoy the scenery.

It’s a nice park with quite a bit of space. They have two different children’s play areas, boat docks, tennis courts. The only thing I don’t like is the inconsiderate guest who smoke near the children’s area. They need to have signs at the parking areas and the play areas saying the park is nonsmoking.

I take my son and min pin to this park 5 days a week a love every minute of it. So peaceful.

Nice place to walk. it’s a little steep in some areas, so if you’re not a big walker you might have to go a little slow. Just started walking here a few weeks ago and it’s nice and tranquil. In an hour you might pass 2 or 3 or 5 other walkers/​joggers/​dog-​walkers and usually see a maintenance person or two. Various trails circle around, I’ve already gone on 4 different «laps» but I’m sure there are many more. haven’t driven to other openings of the park, usually park by tennis court area, near «gingerbread house» (little Gingerbread looking house/​shed – not sure what it’s used for). I would like to explore other areas and will soon. Not very crowded but then it’s only February and usually in the 30’s-40’s. I’m sure in the Summer there’s a lot of people coming here. BBQ and picnic areas, childrens playground, open field for sports. So far in my exploration of the park, I like it.

This park is like at least 3 kinds of park, all in one place. The area nearest the street is a large mowed field often used for team sports. The next area further back is a wooded picnic area with old stone walls and a zillion ground squirrels. Farthest back is lots of natural area, great for hiking.
