Friendly staff, willing to answer any questions and help with making a food choice. Great food, fair pricing. Worth the drive from Medford. Had the curry beef which was yummy. Next time it’s the Phở or one of their other soups. Came back again because the food was sooo tasty last time and the service was wonderful! Defiantly will be coming back again and again!

We were visiting our daughter and son in law in Klamath Falls and they took us to Phở Hong’s for dinner. The owner(sorry don’t remember his name) remembers my daughter’s vegan order everytime and the way my son in law likes his prepared spicy. He explained all the dishes to us and let me say they were excellent !!! You can tell he takes pride in his food and treats customers like family!

Okay, I had the Vermicelli Salad. Normally it’s served with lettuce and chopped egg rolls but no. Just completely different from other cities I’ve been. And it had onions and bean sprouts to substitute the lettuce. Salad=Lettuce…and no lettuce… I was like wtf. Didn’t like it but ate it anyway. Didn’t taste too bad just not what I wanted. My husband had the bbq chicken, when I tasted it, it was like a porter potty bathroom marinate. Also ordered the potstickers, no flavor, texture of plastic. The kiwi boba did not taste like kiwi. More like ice and boba. The server was super nice and awesome, Wish the food was the same.

Visited this area from Houston and decided to try out this spot. Big mistake, food sucked and really upset my stomach. Very skeptical about the chicken that was served at this restaurant…

So glad to hear we aren’t alone in our terrible experience at this place. Awful food and severely rude people at this place. Let’s start with the people and backstory… we had just arrived after a long drive from Sacremento and decided to stop here. Unbeknownst to us Phở Hong has their religious shrine in their front display(who does that?) and they don’t like having photos taken of it, however we never saw this as we were quickly ushered to a seat in the far back corner. Moments after arriving my girlfriend snapped a quick photo of me(we are on vacation) and immediately afterwards a woman comes by and demands that she deletes the photo while she stands over her shoulder watching, we hadn’t even received our drinks yet! This was an incredibly awkward start(we got the last laugh though as she recovered the photo from the«recently deleted» folder!). I guess it was the owner who comes by next and tries to laugh it off and explain the reasoning, «we have very weird beliefs» he says admittedly. Yes clearly you do and to call them«weird» yourself discredits said beliefs immediately. Anyway, be forewarned that this restaurant will impose its religious beliefs on you. We should’ve left by now, i know. But we were road-weary and just wanted to finish up and make the remainder of our drive. Out comes the worst spring rolls and phở I’ve ever had. Bland, hardly any veg on the side as is traditional and no amount of hoison or sriracha could save it. By now the guy comes back and says, «you’ve barely touched your food!» As if this is some kind of new thing for them. I told them i’d lost my appetite and to bring us the check. Awful experience all-around. Would never go back and thankfully won’t have to. Do yourself a favor and stay away, the place is the worst.

A nice looking place with friendly owners. I ordered fried rice with shrimp it came on a full oblong dish. It was okay, the nine shrimp very good but there were few veggies in the rice and nearly microscopic flakes of egg. I know eggs are more expensive now, but that shouldn’t be a reason to leave them out of fried rice even though Panda Express has substituted corn or egg. The cilantro add a refreshing taste but there were also clumps of rice in the dish that seems like it was made hurriedly or carelessly. The mango ice drink was good. I remember in my student days I liked fried the basic fired rice dish not only for the taste but the egg, tiny pieces of pork with vegetables in the rice made it a reasonably balanced meal that was very inexpensive.

Food is horrible with terrible service to match. I ordered beef phở, they had the wrong type of noodle and beef jerky in the bowl! My friend had seafood stir fried noodle, it was greasy and overlooked. The worst part is the service, we asked for an extra plate, and the server REFUSED to give us another plate since they don’t do family style, whatever that means. To say the least, I will not be back !

Ambiance– the interior was covered in Chinese wall decorations, and they all had labels indicating that they were for sale. I don’t know about you but it seems strange to sell items that are already decorating your walls. The tables were clean but the padding on the seats was torn and patched over with green duct tape, a little messy. Also they offer very few sauces on the table and had no sauce dishes. Service– there seemed to be only one waiter in the eating area. However, we came in an hour before closing time and so we got served fairly quickly. I worry, though, about how they fare in more crowded times. The waiter was very energetic and pleasant to us, and chatted with us without being overbearing. Food– we got phở(noodle soup) and an iced milk Vietnamese coffee. We could customize the sweetness level of the coffee, a big plus. However, the glass of coffee was 50% ice! Though the flavor was nice, it became watery very quickly. The phở was VASTLY different from that which I can find in California. In California, the beef is always thinly sliced and the noodle broth is very clear. Here the beef is chopped into little chunks and the broth is heavily spiced(I tasted cinnamon?) and darker. It is certainly an acquired taste! Also their onion was thickly chopped and had too strong of a flavor. Overall-not the worst phở I have eaten, but by far not the best. The food is a bit cheaper than the food in California but not really to my taste.

I was excited to see a Phở place in Klamath Falls but was ultimately disappointed with the atmosphere, service, and the food. Our waiter was overbearing, intrusive, and made us feel uncomfortable. Every door featured a sign requesting no photos to be taken. I can understand no photos of the staff, for privacy reasons, but no photos of the interior? No photos of the food? I’m sure the food would have been fine if I didn’t have food intolerances. Usually I can eat phở but this kind was very different. With just one bite, I knew I would be sick if I ate any more. I wouldn’t recommend eating here. If you really want to try it, you’re better off getting it to go.

Our family enjoys a meal here occasionally. We would visit more often if we did not enjoy preparing our own meals at home. The owner is always there and remembers what we had on the last visit even if it had been a few months. He makes suggestions for us and encourages us to try new items on each visit. We rarely open the menu and have always been pleasantly surprised with the meals. I recommend describing what you like including level of spicy and let yourself be treated to a surprise. The seating is indoors and there the view is the attraction. Enjoy the meal and company who you are with. Note that there are some images posted of a white building which was when the restaurant was at the old location. The new location is more strip mall like on Washburn Way.
