We pulled into this park on a whim and were met by a nice gentleman who advised that rv sites were indeed available for two nights, but we had to wait for his wife to return in 1 ½ hours to assign a space. We left and found something to do and returned a couple hours later. We were assigned a site near the river but, as others have reported, sites are very narrow with grass to park your rv on and a concrete pad next to it. You can practically reach out and touch your next door neighbor’s rig. While setting up we noticed that our site lacked a table, possibly because some of the seasonal campers in this park had as many as three of them. We also found that the cable tv in this site doesn’t work. When told about the table, the nice gentleman offered to try and find one«later». Regarding the cable, his response was«Well, it SHOULD work». I couldn’t agree more. The positive aspects to this park are the scenery, with several sites having a river view, clean spacious rest rooms & showers and FREE washers and dryers, although you need to sign up to use them as this park has mostly fishermen & spouses camped here for the season and they apparently get first dibs on the laundry facilities for their weekly loads. WIFI is strong and relatively fast, rarely seen in private rv parks. Other than the river I see no attractions onsite and nothing for kids to do. You may have to drive a bit to see what the area offers.

Owned by the Yurok Tribe in Yurok Country along the Klamath River. RV campground and tent camping. We were a group of twenty, mostly tent camping. Clean bathroom and shower facilities. We camped eight days. Only one night were we attacked by mosquitoes. Then we all retreated into our respective tents or RV. Initially we had mixed feelings about staying here as we’ve always stayed next door at Chinook RV. However as the week progressed, we began to enjoy the other campers and the campground. A few nights it was clear enough to enjoy the stars above. My one major dislike — the bugs. Daily no see um’s, and the tenacious ants scaling my tent. And the occasional mosquito.
