Michaels

Everytime I go into this store I get the BEST service! I drive an extra 10 minutes to get to this store because of my past experiences :) very friendly young staff but never a bad attitude and the store is always clean! I’m a frequent shopper and I love this store!

I will start off by saying I only go to Michael’s in a pinch because I find the prices at AC Moore to be so much better even on exact items. This Michaels is by far the worst Michael’s in the area as every time I have been there the staff is rude there’s always a long line to check out and nobody helps with anything. My last visit there I went into get one thing so I did not get a cart but I ended up walking around and picking up quite a few items to the point where my hands were overfull and I walked by at least five people working there who saw that I was struggling and nobody offered to help with anything even when I dropped something and was kicking it across the floor to make it to the register nobody helped at all. The lady overcharged me for four items and I noticed it as I was walking out so I turned around and went back to the register. She was clearly annoyed with me and did not want to change the prices to what they should have been. If it were just a few cents I would not have cared but it was a $ 30 discrepancy. Finally she made the price adjustment but she would not use my 25% off coupon that I had with my original order. She said it was because she had to manually change the price and I asked her why didn’t she just manually change the price including the 25% discount and her answer was that she just couldn’t. I was so irritated I decided not to fight it any longer and paid the higher price and left. Honestly the staff there is so unhelpful and they stand around and talk in little groups while the line to pay builds up. As usual I won’t go back in there unless I am in a pinch and don’t have the time to drive to AC Moore.

This store is so crowded with items that it is difficult to find things. Too many things in the isles. I go for painting supplies. Thought I would look for a few other things and had to get associate to help. She also had difficulty finding things. Very disorganized store.

Nice store for crafty people. ‘Nough said. It is a pretty cool store if you give it a chance. The prices aren’t bad and the Staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is very accommodating for an indecisive Shopper that likes to aisle walk.
