Rex Healthcare of Knightdale

This place is fancy shmancy. I came by here to get some blood drawn. Everyone was super nice. I was in and out without an issue and the lady hit my vein like a boss. I would definitely come back.

If you have ever tried to see your regular doctor because you have sinus, allergy, abdominal pain etc, you probably know it is nearly impossible to get a same day appt. But I recently discovered Rex Express Care in Knightdale and it is a Godsend. Both times I’ve been there the wait was less than 15 minutes. On one occasion they not only did blood work but also an X-​ray and I was in and out in about an hour. All staff and doctors are kind, knowledgeable and professional.

After feeling something had not been right with me for a few days, I went here on a Sunday morning soon after they opened at 9 am. The paperwork process was quick and I was soon being seen,
All of the staff that interacted with me were pleasant and did their jobs well. It was determined that my situation was more dire than I had thought and that I needed to go to an emergency room.
They made sure that the ER was aware that i was coming and gave me the appropriate paperwork to speed the process once I got there.

If you live in the Triangle but somehow have never heard of Rex Health until now, Rex is privately owned practice, part of the overall UNC Health Care System, provides a variety of family care, urgent care and other services throughout Wake County. This one is inside Knightdale, right off Hwy64/​Knightdale Blvd, with big purple neon signs. Can’t hardly miss it.
As far as express/​urgent care goes, the efficiency is there: I never had to sit in the lobby for too long before the pre-​examination; however, depends on the day of the week, doctor’s rotation may vary, meaning once you step through the heavy door, you may have to spend a few extra minutes in the examination room before being consulted by the doctor; I hope you don’t have to wear those chapless hospital gowns.
Few times that I have visited (urgent/​express care) I have always been treated with kind attitude, prompt service and careful attention. No wonder Rex is one of the highest rated health care system around.
