Being a NY native I found the pizza very fresh and flavorful. My husband meant to order a pizza with veggies, but instead ordered a stuffed vegetable pizza, very good. The vegetables were all fresh, mozzarella was tasty(sometimes it can seem flavorless I find a distinct taste in good mozzarella) and the dough a good thickness, they gave us enough marinara to dip the pizza and my husband didn’t even ask for it, the sauce was very good as well. Satisfying.

I meant to order from Grand Street, but got the two mixed up. My pizza was soggy on the bottom and the garlic knots were hard dinner rolls. I’m so disappointed.

Nice staff but the pizza is not all that. I ate here for lunch and walked got the 2 slice, one topping special. Not very tasty but dud fill me up. There are other pizza joints that serve better pies.

I’ve never been here before today, but was very pleased. The service was timely and the staff was very friendly. The pizza was delicious. They have fun pizza options… I got the buffalo chicken pizza-yum! I was more amazed at the fact the pizza looked so beautifully made. They had some specials that had a ranch drizzle on them and you could tell that someone took their time to evenly drizzle it… was very appealing and appetizing! I also got an antipasto salad… which was also really good. Restaurant was clean and had ample seating space. I don’t care if the owners used to live in New York or not(and who even knows)…the pizza was good and I love Raleigh(hometown girl!!), so it’s nice to find friendly, hospitable staff, that sells good food at a good price! We will definitely be back!

I do not eat pizza!!! However, my 13 year old is in love with this place!!! We can not pass it without him wanting the 2 slice and drink special. Geesh… they have to have the largest slices in North Carolina and the prices are amazing! My son suggested 6 stars if possible and states of all the pizza places he frequent this by far has to be one of the best. and he is the Young King of pizza, he would eat pizza three times a day if I would allow it!!!

The best pizza in Knightdale. Some of the best pizza in the Triangle. The large pizzas are huge and barely fit in the box.

Love to stop into Slice of Ny Pizza every chance that I get when I am in the Knightdale area. I have dined here on numerous occasions. The food is always quick yet delicious. I love that the size of the pizza slices are larger than average and that they have a wide variety of «gourmet» pizzas to choose from. Slice of Ny Pizza is easily one of my favorite places in Knightdale to dine!

My husband likes to get to go pizza from there and since I had never tried it before we decided to eat there this weekend. Good: We got calzones and other than being a little soggy on the bottom they were good. The sauce was good, too. Prices were reasonable. Service was OK although our estimate of 15 minutes to get the food was way off. Bad: The place looks like it is not maintained very well. Folded up cardboard under the legs of the tables, holes in the walls that have been spackled but not painted, plastic plants that are covered in dust, drink area is worn out and bathroom was not nice(cleaning supplies and toilet cleaner brush left out beside the sink, rust around the fixtures and not clean). My plate had a large chip taken out of it. It was like they had not paid any attention to detail or keeping it up. I can see going here to pick up a quick slice of pizza but I would not dine in there again.

Update on review from ½/2013. Please note the correct spelling of lasagna should be with an «a» at the end and not an «e» as another reviewer most graciously pointed out. Also– I no longer eat at this establishment. Better Italian choices most anywhere else. The pizza crust is pretty much like tasteless cardboard.

Could they be any stupider??? I’d only eaten here once before. I thought the slice I had was pretty o.k. I miss Brooklyn desperately, and hadn’t had pizza in a year, so I called and ordered two small pies. I first asked, your small pizzas, how many slices. 8, he says. I say, full size slices? He says, yeah. So, I order a cheese pie and a pie with mushroom and green peppers, that last one for a friend who was picking up the order. I decided to revise my order. I called and said, hey, put pepperoni on half of the cheese pizza. No problem they say. I ask, do you have garlic knots? Yeah, we got that. So I get two orders, one for me, one for my pal. I’m psyched for pizza! My pal gets to the door, and I had first of all, the pie was puny! NOT full size slices. Second of all, there’s NOSAUCE in the pizza! Third, NOPEPPERONIONHALF! Fourth, there is a box with a random cheese slice of pizza, and a random slice with pepperoni(WTF???). Fifth, instead of getting garlic knots, they prepared garlic BREAD. I was so disgusted and enraged I threw the random slices of pizza on the ground of the porch and stomped on them, and threw the bread out for the birds(I can get birdseed cheaper than what they charged for the bread). To get to the quality of their food, from last year and that single slice I had to now, either I lucked out then, or like so many others have written, they have NOBUSINESS putting NY in the business’s name. The pizza is tasteless, like eating cardboard, and as I said, they didn’t put sauce on the pie? I didn’t ask for a white pie! What moron doesn’t put sauce on a pizza? So they get zero stars from me for being so entirely incompetent taking a very simple order, and charging a lot for crap food that has zero taste. If you want pizza in the wretched city of Raleigh, make your own. Even if you suck in the kitchen, it will be so much better that the crap served here. Update: Just spoke to my friend, for whom I bought a small pie with mushrooms and green peppers. His pizza also had NOSAUCE, and only half the pizza had the toppings, when the order was for a plain old pie with both. How stupid do you have to be to not get such a simple order? How STUPID do you have to be to make pizza without pizza sauce??? OMFG, this place is a total joke. You want pizza, make your own or go to Gino’s on Flatbush in Brooklyn. Or that Frank’s place someone recommended, in Raleigh. Just DON’T throw your money away on the worst food you’ll ever eat(that you didn’t order) at this laughable joint. So disgusted.

Large facility, clean dining area, menu boards are easy to read. On one of the menu boards the daily specials are listed, and from it I ordered the lasagna. I was happy to see that my meal was served on a plate and the beverage was in a plastic cup. Little surprised that the utensils were plastic though. Lasagna was served with minimal waiting, and was an ample sized portion. Taste however was disappointing. It had all the flavor of a frozen microwavable dinner. I was expecting a little more spice or cheeses with more flavor. I was here at lunch about noon, and only one of two or three customers in the place.

LOVE this pizza place! My Italian boss buys us lunch from here about once a week and he says it’s the closest pizza he’s found in NC to the real thing in NY. They’re pizza is delicious and their prices are low. Love it!

This place was good when it first opened. I have had nothing but bad experiences of late. The issue that will keep me from never walking into this place again is this. I order a large pepperoni pizza. I got a large cheese when I brought it to their attention they just put pepperoni on it and handed it back to me. Are you kidding they didn’t even put a little more cheese and run it through the oven for a min or two. No I had a pizza with a bunch of lose pepperoni floating around on top. They definitely don’t take pride in there product and it shows and the employees attitude is shitty at best. Stay away from this awful establishment.

One of the things that really makes me angry is using«NY» in your name, when you have no ties to the city whatsoever. This pizza was edible, but complete garbage. They got two stars because they do keep the place clean. The dough was chewy and undercooked, the sauce tasteless and the cheese artificial. Go elsewhere. Anywhere.

Good seating area, plenty of space. Facility appeared to be cleaned regularly. Language barrier with guy behind counter. The pizza takes quite a while to cook(approximately 20 minutes~). We ate for around $ 14, small 12″ pizza and two regular size drinks. The pizza tatsed very good, we only had mushrooms for toppings. The dough was very edible. The center of the pizza dough seemed to be under cooked but my wife told me it was the water from the mushrooms making it soggy. I have pics for everyone to see.
