I love this place– hosted a big party here in the fall and the staff was incredibly helpful and flexible. Good beer, good food, great place to watch the river.

Not impressed. Filthy, unkempt bar with bathrooms that are worse. Beer for sale along with a few soft drinks. No wine. No other liquor other than something like a Mike’s Hard Lemonade. Power failures. Mickey-mouse sound system. No facilities for cooking, caterers, etc., which made a recent comedy/magician event quite difficult carry off, to say the least. Keith the owner is very nice but that doesn’t make up for this low-caliber facility. If all you want to do is drink beer, get drunk, swat mosquitos and act like fools, this is your place.

There is only beer no liquor. They left the pizza boxes out and it’s Kirkland brand and they add some toppings takes forever for them to make. Was super disappointed to see the«Kirkland» brand boxes out. The produce for burgers was wilted old and mustard jar was full of mold. I guess you don’t go there for the food. Bought beer off tap it was warm almost room temp. No bueno.

I’m preliminarily giving Stingrayz(yes the name is spelled wrong on Unilocal) 3 stars which is A-OK…but the potential is there for so much more if I were to go on a weekend. If you’re looking for a pit stop between the bay area and Yuba City, this is the place. Or if you’re looking for a fun location not too far from YC to hang on a hot day by the river, this is the place. Because we were coming back from a burial service on a Tuesday, our options were limited. BBQ and wood fired pizza is on the weekends. But there’s plenty of beer to choose from and they kindly guided me through my tap and bottle and can selections. Got some peanuts, too… there’s definitely snacky pre-bagged food available to purchase. Really friendly — made us feel completely welcome. Took our beer(and the teen girl’s Yahoo… ewww) outside and watched the river awhile. They have cornhole, which we just played at Lost & Found in Oakland, and a whole bunch of stuff that you’ll just want to wander around and look at. The stage is cool, the stadium seating with the outboard motors mounted are cool… just an all-around inviting environment that I really want to go see live music in. They also just had some kind of wood-carving clinic or contest — you can check their Facebook page for photos. We’ll definitely try coming back on a weekend and really look forward to hanging out!

[ Hey Unilocal,I believe it’s Stingrayz, with the letter ‘Z’ at the end]. Easy 5 stars for what it is. Nice local hole-in-the-wall bar and grill. A little gem right on the Sacramento River with its own boat marina and sand beach. An eclectic spot with a large outdoor seating area with plenty of shade, including a stage area where a live band(«Déjà vu») was playing on Memorial Day. Indoor bar serves bottled beer and beer on tap. BBQ grill in the patio area served us two pretty mean Hawaiian burgers. I talked with the owners who are down to earth folks and great to converse with. Draft beer: $ 5 /Bottle beer: $ ? Hawaiian burger(delicious): $ 7 I hear their pizza’s are also very good. We’ll try them next time! [His/Hers separate bathrooms were clean.] North(East) side of the River, take 1st left off the bridge, then the very 1st left up the levy road. Cannot see this place using Goole Street View.(behind the levy burm). I’m wondering if I should have kept this place a secret… P. S. Kim N.‘s 6÷30÷2007 review of «1star» seems like a prejudiced rating. I don’t think she even tried to go on the property! «…too scarey…»? What,… did she just do a «drive-by» review then?!(«Elite ’14» reviewer, my ass…)

Took a little road trip today and ended up at Stingrays Beach Boardwalk Marina @ Knights Landing. So glad we did. Awesome eclectic place. Had a great pizza and cold beer sitting long the river enjoying a spring like day in February. The owner and his dad were very welcoming and friendly. Looking forward to another visit in the summer in hopes to enjoy a BBQ and live music.

This place is awesome. Right on the water. We stopped in early on new years day before normal opening time. The owner opened up early for us and made us all some free hot coffee. Have been there a few with great service. Have not tried the food yet.

Love this place. We randomly passed by on a detour around Sacramento traffic and were glad we did. Total redneck yacht club!

Wow. This place is one SERIOUS hidden gem. Sac folks might be reminded of the old art collective space, The Horse Cow, and also of nearby biker bar, Plainfield Station. This place is loaded with quirky art pieces(some by a local artist and one possibly by Walt Disney himself) and is located right on the river. The scenery is beautiful and the space includes some trailers, a stage, bleachers, benches, and horse shoes. The company is welcoming and the drinks are cheap. What more could you want? I’d give it six stars if I could.

What a great place! Cold beer, great BBQ, wonderful people! From the outside you wouldn’t think much of it but the place is island relaxed, with people who want you to have a good time. There’s a wood oven for pizza, burgers and dogs, and occasional ribs/chicken/etc. they have a stage for music and a pool table. River access off the Sacramento(I think) right where the bridge goes over the river in Knights Landing. Definitely worth checking out if you’ve spent the day playing on the river, are on your way through on Hwy 113 or if you’d like a fun relaxed change from the usual stuff around Woodland or Yuba. They will also let you fish off the docks :)

Nice place to relax, there’s a great view of the river with a dock for the boaters to stop by. All ages are welcome, as well as dogs. They have music every once in a while and spots to camp out for the night or weekend. There is food for sell, usually bbq on the weekends. For the fishers out there they also sell bait and supplies.

Stingrays is actually a really fun, relaxed bar with an awesome view of the Sacramento River. The back patio is a great place to sit and watch people boat by. The staff is really friendly, and they serve bbq on the weekends, and there is a nice taco truck across the river too. This is a great place to spend a lazy weekend afternoon.

Holy Fuck, just about the scariest bar I’ve ever seen. When taking the 113 up to Chico from Davis, you’ll see this dimly lit, rickety looking structure sitting off the water. Scareeee!
