Jake’s Heating Air & Plumbing

So when your water heater rots out from the bottom and is still under manufacturer’s warranty it’s amazing how Jake’s Heating & Cooling, the people that put it in, want to come out and charge you $ 692 to replace it.
Heater is under manufacturer’s warranty, and I get that it’s going to cost some money for labor, but these guys are crooks. They will tell you, you need a license to plumber to replace a water heater which is not true. Initially the package to do this work and extra non needed BS was over $ 3200…I just want a warrantied water heater replaced!
Jake’s Heating & Cooling won’t take the old one and give me a new one, but they will deliver it for $ 692. They refuse to give an hourly rate, so you can calculate the 1 hour of labor needed, or even to figure travel time, but tell me $ 692 is a flat rate. They won’t allow me to give them the old one and pick up a replacement at their shop… because then they get no money GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
As the clown who came to my house went to his truck to give me figures, after trying to sell me a $ 3,200 package, I disconnected the water heater took it up the stairs, within 5 minutes, and placed it in my driveway to his surprise. Told him this aint my first rodeo and told him his price was BS!
I hope anyone who needs furnace; AC or water heater work will call someone else. Stay Away from these gougers, and stay away from their products. They dont stand behind the products they sell unless they can stick it to people.

Lee Supply Corp was more than happy to take my old water heater and supply me with a new one.
They also thought it was rather ridiculous that I wasn’t supplied a new heater even without getting the installation.

Great Job arrived on time did a fantastic Job, Got a new water heater and water softener if you need something like this ask for Donnie he does a excellent work a real craftsman… I give him 5 stars
