Love the Pub! Great white fish on Fridays. Pizzas are good, prime rib, specials every day. And a great back enclosed patio in season with tv, music and corn hole game

Given that there are few options when it comes to dining out at the lake when you want to drink, this is about as good as it gets. If you want a beer with your meal, then by all means swing by the pub. However, I would only advise selecting from the pizza(better than others nearby), the burgers(pretty good), and the fried fish. By all means avoid the steak(way overpriced and a subpar cut of meat — a one pound bone-in ribeye was $ 27 and only about 75% of it was edible: the rest was gristle and fat). Also avoid the all you can eat spaghetti. It reminded me of public school spaghetti, but worse. The sauce tasted like it came straight from a can and it was lukewarm at best. The service is good, the waitstaff and bar staff are friendly and when I want a burger, it’s a reasonable place to go. But if it’s a decent steak I want, I’ll go to Culver or Valparaiso.

I go here all the time. It’s a pretty decent place nothing great. One of the other reviewers pretty much mentioned that if you didn’t agree with her about the pizza crust you must be be a want to be foodie. Well, I’m not a want to be foodie but being a regular and knowing cooks, waiters, waitresses, and yes the owner. I don’t like the crust because well it’s FROZEN! My only real complaint is how expensive the menu is. Not drinks, just food. You’ll find it’s much more expensive than any of the area restaurant many of which are better and nicer. They do have a great variety on the menu. The staff is just awesome and the patio out back is a nice place to relax, have some drinks and play some bags.

The pizza here is very good. I didn’t know what to expect from a dingy little pub in a lakehouse town. I liked the thin crust a lot, although I’m sure some pizza wannabe foodie jerks would complain that it isn’t «cracker thin,» but the crust kept the pizza from getting soggy with grease. They are generous with the toppings too, I had some in every bite. The restaurant itself though is in need of repair. My friend and I drove over here to pick up three pizzas. When we walked in(OK I was definitely a little drunk) but, I immediately noticed a moldy basement smell. It reminded me of my grandma’s basement, and then that reminded me of my mom saying, «that’s mold or mildew. You aren’t supposed to smell that.» I didn’t get the impression that this place is unclean, but maybe it’s time to replace the carpeting? They were showing an episode of «COPS» in the bar area while we waited. So that kept my lush self entertained for a few minutes.

We stopped in here to escape the rain that hit while we were camping at the lake. The place was pretty crowded, as others were doing the same, so we found a spot in the a corner of the bar. The staff was super accommodating to our large group. We didn’t have food, just drinks, but the prices were awesome!(We’re used to Chicago prices for drinks.) The bartender invited us back later that night for karaōke, which could have been a lot of fun. Their patio out back looked like a nice place to hang out too.

Stopped in for a beer and some lunch. The outside looks like a pole barn, but don’t let that stop you. We walked by a table on our way in that had a delicious looking pizza. Needless to say, we ordered pizza. It was excellent. They did have other tempting choices on the menu including sandwiches, steaks and seafood. Although this place is on a lake, it is open year round. There were quite a few locals there(usually a good sign). The staff was friendly, knowledgable, courtious, and attentive. I would definately go back if I’m out that way again.
