Love the atmosphere! We used to go to the one in Charlotte, nc all the time so we were excited when one opened in Knoxville! Great burgers but amazing tater tops!

Frankly, I’ve never eaten, or attempted to eat, greasier food, ever… it took several paper towels to try and soak up the grease… without much success. On a positive note, our waitress was tops!!!

Their burgers are really, really, really big. I mean gigantic. The picture you see measures about 6″ high. Great value for the money. The ‘bad ass’ was delicious, except the buttermilk fried bacon was more batter than bacon, adding unnecessary calories imo. Not that I’m counting calories when I come here.(ha) The chili was excellent and I was pleasantly surprised(thrilled is more like it) that the house pinot noir was ‘Blackstone,’ one of my faves. A healthy hearty pour for $ 8 too, if you know what I mean.(I can’t stand those places that give you 3 – 4 oz of wine – it’s just not enough. Nor is it fair.) Service was top notch – friendly and quick. Ambiance is fun – exposed pipes and industrial vibe. Sports on the TVs but not obnoxiously loud. It’s a fun place. Only thing is… we ate way too much, which I imagine most people can easily do here. Our burger and fries probably had 2500 calories, so we had a bit of a stomach ache. Our fault I am sure. :D

Give the food quality and taste a 4; overall value is a 2 –Way overpriced burger and beer; burger $ 11.50: beer $ 6.50; what! I knew it when I saw the menu but decided to try it; $ 20 for a burger and beer with tax; won’t go back because of poor overall value; either Turkey creek demanding top $ prices or public getting reemed

I was pleasantly surprised. Mama Ricotta Burger was the best burger. Wasn’t expecting such a pleasant surprise. The service was also excellent. My husband had great American burger and it was good as well.

Not a bad burger although some of their specialty burgers are a bit pricey. Fries and sweet potato fries were a bit salty for my liking(I love salt). I also enjoyed the fresh squeezed strawberry-lemonade. I did like the ambience – it’s a great spot to catch your favorite ball game or sport. I especially liked the large number of booths to give you just that small bit of privacy as you’re woofing down a juicy burger. The staff were friendly and attentive. I would go again just for the ambience and to watch a game and have a beer, but if you just want a good burger and fries, there are probably cheaper options for same taste.

OK — I’m giving Bad Daddy’s a 5-star rating, and you should realize that I’m giving that rating relative to other burger bar places. And in that vein, Bad Daddy’s is superb. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger on Steroids and it was outstanding. Not overpowered by bacon, and the pickles, peppers and cheese were all evident. They played exceptionally well together. My wife ordered the basic burger with cheddar and it was delicious, too. Both were cooked medium well, but they were very moist. The tater tots and onion straws were just right, too. For dessert we had Banana Puddin’ and a Peanut Butter Shake and both were awesome, although the BP is not your typical vanilla jello pudding with bills wafers & bananas. The wait staff was attentive but not intrusive. The wait times were fine. The ambiance is burger bar appropriate. And there are more than enough TVs to carry all the college football games a Saturday can supply!

Relaxed atmosphere, 3 in the afternoon. New business in the area, and it shows. A hair in my beer, replaced and free, bill did not reflect happy hour prices nor Octoberfest specials. Burger was good, was medium rare, not medium, bottom half of bun was non-existent after turning to mush from all the burger juice. Sauce substitution was small, seen but not tasted. Buttermilk battered bacon is a waste, couldn’t taste the bacon amidst the thick coating. Wings were ok, just seemed to have Frank’s red hot coating them. Service was mediocre, and a bit aloof, especially since there were 7 or 8 employees there mulling about, and only 2 other tables there while I was there. Salad had zero presentation, I had to dig through the spinach to check if everything I specified was there. Everything was, in small amounts. Groupon brought me in, and only that will bring me back.

Went on Monday during down time afternoon. I’d been flying all day and this was the first food I’d had. Never having been here before I was really excited to try it out based on my collegues recommendation. Wow. We ordered the fried pickles: fried twice spears– sooo good! I also ordered the Frenchie Burger: Turkey burger with brie cheese and fries — it was so delicious I was blown away and everything was fresh, hot, juicy, well seasoned. Loved it! My phone was dead from traveling all dat and I had no car charger, my waitress was kind enough to take it a charge it in a discrete place for me. She was so awesome! Highly recommend!

My little boy chose this place to celebrate his first day of school because he liked saying«We’re going to the booger bar» over and over again. Now I want to get the word out so that this place doesn’t go anywhere because we loved it. We were going to Red Robin down the road fairly regularly for hamburgers, but we weren’t happy. It seems like there was a problem every other visit, and the service was horrible. This place is completely different. We had a great server, and the manager was sincere and attentive when we had a small issue. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and even the hostess cleaning the window outside was friendly and nice. The food was very good with prices on par with Red Robin. My only complaint was that it was a bit chilly inside for shorts and short sleeves so I’ll take a jacket next time. There will be a next time.

For the burgers and service, this place is 4 stars easy. Maybe 4.5. The side and appetizer that I tried were pretty dang bad though and I had to drop a star. The good: The burger was great. I ordered it medium and it came out medium. They were not stingy with the toppings. The service was very good. The bad: The seasoning on the fried pickles and house chips was so salty that both were inedible. I like a lot of salt on things and these were waaaaaay too salty even for me. I would go back, but I would get a salad or something else to go with my burger.

Who doesn’t love a good burger? As chains go, Bad Daddy’s was pretty tasty. The best? No. But tasty. Competition is steep in the burger world, but they do a bang up job. The restaurant atmosphere is pretty cool, and the server was nice, especially considering I went with a large group from work. There’s a do-it-yourself section of the menu for burgers, but you have to be a pretty picky mofo to need that kind of control. The main portion of the menu has over a dozen very different and delicious sounding items that made it really tough to pick. I went with the Sam I Am, which was a burger, topped with rosemary ham, pesto, and a fried egg. It was like breakfast and lunch all rolled into one meal. The rosemary ham is what drew me in, but to be totally honest, i didn’t taste much of the rosemary because the pesto was the dominant flavor. It sounds like I’m complaining, but I really am not. I wish the egg was a little less done, so it blended better with the whole burger. All in all, a pretty scrumptious endeavor, and I was pretty happy with my venture to Bad Daddy’s. Now, if they were anywhere else but Turkey Creek.

In short: Dude, you have to come here. Favs: — Bacon Cheeseburger on steriods(do it with tots) — Pittsburger(fries are good with this) — Nachos(enough for two) — The Veggie Burger is good too Perks: — Food is killer — Plenty of TVs in good view — Menu is easy to follow Quirks: — Shared parking lot is often full — Not a fan of the fried pickles… they come out in full length and not pickle chips

I heard this place was fantastic. I compare it to Red Robin with different flavors. I wouldn’t call it upscale. It’s a bar like Wild Wing Café or Buffalo Wild Wings with sports playing on the TVs throughout the restaurant. There’s a separate bar area and outside patio seating. The burgers were good and so were the fries. The peanut butter pie was average. I wouldn’t order it again. I went two days straight to see if I would receive consistent service. The first night I went we had great service. It was also very busy. The second day I went for lunch and it wasn’t busy at all. The waiter could not multitask and struggled the entire time. We didn’t get everything we ordered and had to ask a manager for some things. All in all the place is average. It’s a different tasting Red Robin in my opinion.

Hellooooo Knoxville! Bad Daddy’s has come to town and let me tell you — this is the place to be! Great ambiance, great happy hour, and great food. I watched as tables kept filling up the night I came in and it’s no surprise. I mean, these burgers are serious business. I had the bad ass burger(go big or go home, right?) and swapped out the cheese and toppings just the way I like it. Their chef-driven burgers allow you to customize without losing the gourmet all around. The meat was perfectly cooked, ingredients were fresh. Man, that burger was real tasty! Oh. and please don’t tell my doctor that I just ate buttermilk fried bacon on my burger.(Uh-huh. And that I loved it.) The Bad Daddy sauce for your fries is also D-lish. Yum! I had to ask the waitress for more. If there was one thing I could improve. it would be the fries. Sad face. You just can’t have soggy fries with your burger. I won’t knock off a star just for this. That burger and sauce standing along comprises all 5 stars.

I was on a work trip in Knoxville and decided«heck, why not check out some local establishments.» When checking out the Unilocal app, I found out that this place had only been open for 5 weeks at the time, and seemed like the new hip spot. Being right by my hotel, I decided to check it out. I walked in and saw some awesome décor on the walls and an awesome bar area. The servers here were friendly and accommodating, but not overbearingly hovering. I already had some drinks and apps at another establishment with coworkers, so I decided upon just a dinner; the Bacon Burger on Steroids(light, right?). I got it, and man was it delicious. The beef patty was great, and if you like bacon flavor, it will give you one hell of a kick. The fries are nothing to scoff at either. My only gripe about this place was the price point. For a drink and burger, this trip wound up costing me right at $ 20; which I feel is a tad bit steep for a burger joint. However, I presume I cannot complain all that much, because if I lived in Knoxville, I’d eat here often, and I strongly recommend you give this place a try!

Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar in the Turkey Creek area has an excellent burger. Pricey but with quality ingredients and great taste. The walls are filled with movie, music, and other various posters. They appeared to have a lot of people working. The crowd was rather large but we were able to sit right away. Service was excellent. Their menu is basically a collection of appetizers, salads, and burgers. They have some crazy combinations, all of which sound good. They’re big on customization, allowing you to customize your burger or salad. I went with the Sam I am burger. It had a pretty large slice of ham, an egg, and some kind of Rosemary Pesto. It was just as good as it sounds. They let me order it medium-rare which indicates their not using low quality beef.(Or they could just be rolling the dice praying no one gets E. Coli) Nevertheless, it was tasty. They only downside to all of this? The price. You’re looking at forking out $ 15 a person for a burger, fries, and a drink. I’m guessing their food costs(lots of Boar’s Head toppings) are what is driving their prices up. Not a place I’d eat every day, but definitely the best burger I’ve had in a long time.
