Manager, Jennifer Azambuja went out of her way to help me. My waitress was very attentive and service was great. Pizza awesome!

If you are into a flat crusted pizza like I am then this is a refreshing pizza place to try. The topping options are unique and remind me of what I could get when I lived in Baltimore. There is always a decent selection of craft beer and most of the time the bartender and pick something you’ll like after just describing some of your personal favorites. Keep in mind not all the pizza is done with regular sauce so read the menu carefully. They need better appetizer selections.

Let me start by saying, I’m not the biggest fan of pizza. But the pizza was the best thing about this Brixx location. I got a siracha chicken on wheat dough that was really good. However, I’ve been to the Brixx in West Knox several times and received much better service. The servers at this location were nice, but they seemed a bit frazzled. To start they were pretty slow for only about ten people to be in the entire restaurant including our table of five. It was New Belgium beer special’s night, but at 5:00 they were already out of some of the beer. They said it was on the delivery truck coming in the next day. Since my group was celebrating a friends promotion, we decided to get a round of shots as well. That too proved to be a problem because apparently there was a recent bar accident that broke half the place’s shot glasses. Now deciding to go hard in the paint in a super kid friendly pizza place is probably not a wise choice. Still, I would think during low-traffic hours on a random weekday, most restaurants could rise to the occasion. The pizza, gluten free options, and veggie options are actually really good at Brixx, but I wouldn’t return expecting the best service.

Love the wild mushroom pizza. Don’t miss out the buy one get one free deal after 10pm. Nice place to hang out.

Atmosphere is warm and inviting. The dining room is comfortable and has your typical modern pizza joint/bar feel. The wait time is always very reasonable as I don’t think I have every had to wait longer than a few minutes. Bar selection is robust and offers a variety of import beers for the beer snob in your group. Food choice is also excellent offering something for every pallet. For someone wanting a typical new York or Chicago style pizza, this is not the place for you. Their wood fired pizzas such as the roasted chicken caprese, creek, or Pesto Portobello(all excellent choices) are more«flats» than a traditional pie. Favorite appetizer and perhaps best humus in town is the Wood Fired Pita Chips And Three Dips with the Bruschetta coming in at a close second. The three dips are traditional hummus, roasted red pepper hummus and black bean hummus. All very good, but the black bean hummus is superb. The main reason I will be returning to Brixx in Turkey Creek is the service and attention to detail. Dinners are regularly visited by the manager on duty and each one I have encountered has been not only courteous and friendly but highly knowledgeable of the menu.

Met some friends here before the game. Service was good, the Brownstone Ale nice and cold. Food was just OK — flavors were muted and I thought the cost was a bit high for what I call a small pizza — pretty much underwhelmed by the whole experience. I think you can find a much better pizza in Knoxville.

I would agree with the person who said that this place is like California Pizza Kitchen’s simpler southern cousin. More adventurous topping combinations than you would find at a typical pizza joint and the default is a 10″ thin crust brick oven pizza(not sure if they even do a larger size). I sat at the bar and was quickly attended to by one of the bartenders. She made me an excellent house margarita, took my pizza order when she gave it to me, and I had only taken about four sips before she was bringing me my pizza(I am definitely not a slow drinker). I swear it took less than five minutes, it was shocking. I was in and out in less than half an hour around 7:30 at night. I went conservative and got the pepperoni-mushroom pizza. The downside to the speedy cook time was that the mushrooms were only about halfway cooked: /The flavor was good but as it was a thin crust and there was just enough cheese and toppings to cover the crust, there was not very much mass to it. I took a third home and the box felt empty as I was carrying it. I’d go again but wouldn’t go out of my way to do it.

My coworker and I entered the restaurant for lunch. We have never eaten here before but heard good things about the place. Upon entering, we didn’t know if we had to seat ourselves because there was no seating signs or anyone manning the entrance. We chose a booth and began our wait. Several wait staff saw us sitting here, but no one approached for the drink orders. After at least 5 – 7 minutes we finally were asked what we wanted to drink. I ordered sweet tea which was NOT good. We then waited another 10 minutes or more to give our food orders. The restaurant was not busy and we just couldn’t understand why were being ignored with such slow service… Pizza and pasta were ordered and after a long wait, our food was delivered. For the price, our servings should’ve been huge! However, the bread served with the pasta was tasteless and cold. The pizza was good– I just can’t believe the price. After all is said is done– the service is what killed my experience and I will not be returning…

I had high expectations that were dashed. It’s obvious the staff writes the reviews. Possibly one of the worst pizza I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten at a lot of different places across the U.S. The server took 15 to get my first drink and didn’t know the menu as he should have. There is no real flavor to the pizza at all. The pizza is all flat crust, little cheese and the size is a joke for $ 10.95 you could get a better pizza that would feed more people than 1. I’ve had supermarket pizza that was better the ONLY thing that was good was the s’mores desert pizza.

I love Brixx Pizza. I have taken many of my friends and family when they come to town to visit. The food is excellent and they have a great selection of craft microbrewery beers on tap. The service has always been great and I recommend either of the 2 locations in Knoxville.

Orgasm in my mouth. The best damn pizza I have ever had. My best friend lives in Knox so I decided to drive from Atlanta to visit her. She lives 5minutes away from turkey creek and I was in the mood for some pizza. Apparently there is a deal after a certain time here which in short is(Half-off pizza after 11pm) But we thought it was 10pm. But fortunately our server was so understanding and so nice that he basically gave us the half off because it was 5minutes till 11pm. So I only paid $ 5 bucks for the pizza. *STANDINGOVATION* you sir are fucking genius. Okay so when we got there at 10pm it wasn’t busy because duh the half off didn’t begin till 11. So around 11 is when the crowds started to pour in. I got the buffalo chicken pizza. It was just so good. You won’t understand unless you go there! My mouth is getting watery just talking about it. You can get ranch or blue cheese sauce to dip your pizza in. I mean you just mention blue cheese and I’m all ears! To wrap it up. EFFINGAMAZING! people are nice, not too pricey, servers are sweet. This is coming from someone who resides in Atlanta. I will definitely be coming back while I’m in town.

He said: I can’t remember what my sandwich was, so maybe that’s a review right there. I remember it was a bit overblown, with lots of toothpicks. She said: We ordered a couple of sandwiches to go. The sandwiches were pretty good, as were the purple potato chips. I would give them another try!

Lunch is a great time to go. The lunch staff is excellent And the place isn’t crowded as dinner is their peak time. They have great wraps and sandwiches which are overlooked since they are namely a pizza place. I eat there for lunch 3 times a week and get a wrap or sandwich every time. The ingredients are truly fresh and healthy.

Great 2 for 1 pizzas after 10 pm, and the beverage prices were just right. The jerk pizza on wheat crust was healthy and tasty, but it could use a bit more spice and seasoning. I recommend that Brixx try CPK’s version and try again to eliminate the blandness. Overall, a good experience and excellent service.

Had really bad service and the food was mediocre at best. My son’s pasta dish arrived 20 minutes after the pizzas and I had to ask where it was twice. The pizzas were Luke warm and tasted more like fast food than freshly prepared. Won’t be coming back here.

Decided to come and eat here because it’s basically the only place open after 10pm. We wanted a salad and 10 minutes later our waitress came back and informed us that they couldn’t do salad because it’s too late. This was a huge disappointment for us. It was the managers decision to have no salad after 10 and we were given the regular menu. Later we didn’t get pasta after 45 minutes and were told it wasn’t offered. Our waitress, Miranda, stormed off and threw our check on the bar. Joe, the manager, came to our table and explained that even though they could make a salad for another person in our party it was impossible to accommodate us. Our waitress even ate a large salad after she informed us it was put away. Horrible!

I came here based on Unilocal reviews from my iPhone from the Interstate. When traveling — sometimes finding a good bite to eat with a nice vegetarian selection is hard to come by. I’m so happy other Unilocalers made finding Brixx easy for me! I had the artichoke pizza and it was amazing — both what I had at the restaurant and as leftovers when I had the rest while camping in the mountains. It tasted like the pizza was made by hand to order…(maybe it was?) …and all the ingredients were as fresh as could be. The service was very quick, attentive, and cheerful, and the pizza came out in about five minutes, even though they were very busy at the time. I wish I could rate this at 4 ½ stars as it was better than just very good and just shy of being the best of the best. Next time I’m in the area I’ll definitely stop by again!

Nom-Nom! ^__^ Two wonderful, different, and welcomed things about Brixx: LOTS of Vegetarian options and they are open until 1AM daily, except on Sundays when they are still open until 11pm. This is great for a pescetarian who likes her dinner between 11pm-12am. Oh, and their food is good too! A third wonderful thing about Brixx is their nightly specials. After 10pm all pizzas and appetizers are B1GO free. There is also a drink special, but I’ve never payed attention to that. I have had almost every vegetarian pizza on the menu. I highly recommend the Artichoke. My current favorite is the Hawaiian, no meat, add feta.(All substitutions or added toppings are free!) Every time I have the carnivores with me try these 2 pizzas, they wish they would have ordered the same. But doesn’t that always happen when you order a cheese or veggie pizza for yourself and then the 10 people at the party who wanted peperoni and sausage eat all of yours? Oh well… The appetizers are a must try! The hummus and pita appetizer is great. The spinach artichoke dip is way better than most I have had. If they don’t bring you enough pita or toasty bread you can ask for more. The staff here is always very friendly! The atmosphere is very modern and comfy. The music can be a bit overwhelming at times. They have nice outdoor seating for warmer nights. Enjoy! ^__^

First impression: This place is like CPK’s simpler southern cousin. Here’s the premise: wood-fired pizza and 20+ microbrews on tap. What’s not to love? Four bucks gets you a sampler of any four beers on the draft list. Between the four little glasses you get, it’s probably between 12 – 16 ounces. It’s a fair shake. Most of the pints on the menu are north of $ 4 anyway. The décor is nice and hasn’t been beat to hell by the inevitable torrent of humanity that floods into Turkey Creek daily. Service was FAST! We were in and out of this place in less than half an hour. Unbelievable. We didn’t feel rushed, it’s just that things kept coming out, we kept eating, and before you realize how little time has passed, the credit card is down on the table. Wow. In a nutshell: This place is absolutely adequate with very few«grand opening» jitters left in the system. If what I really want is a «pizza place» I’ll go next door to Mangia. Much better pizza any day of the week. It’s real working man’s pizza. If you want a pear and gorgonzola salad on top of your pizza, go to Brixx. That being said, if you’re planning to propose to your finacee, Mangia isn’t the place to do it. Brixx isn’t either though. Come one — popping the question at a pizza place? What are you thinking? You need to find a place that at LEAST has tablecloths for that kind of meal.
