If you’re looking for a place where you can eat some good food and have a drink without yelling at your neighbor this place is for you. The staff are friendly and keep your drinks filled. The weekly crowd is 30’s+ with the younger crowd filing in later in the evening. Everyone is friendly and make an out of towner feel welcome. Plenty of tv’s to watch any game on. I will come back if I’m ever in town again. One thing… The place does smell like smoke but is not overly smoky.

Service was great! Wings and fries were excellent! Only drawback was the stale smoke smell from the fact they allow smoking. I really don’t understand the need to still have a need for a smoking section in a place that serves food. Non smokers really don’t want to smell smokers puffing their lives away! Go outside

My only visit here, start with the good. Staff is very friendly, was waiting to meet a friend here and no less than three different employees asked me if I was being taken care of. This feels like your basic neighborhood sports bar/​pub, an older adult clientele, folks getting off work from the mall. Happy hour from 3 – 7, wasn’t drinking so not sure what their specials were. They divide the place between smoking and nonsmoking. They had a nice looking patio. The only gripe I had was the food, it was decent but terribly overpriced. I had the pizza and it was wafer thin, glad I wasn’t really hungry or I’d been hurting. Just expected more for 15 bucks. Can’t say much else, I’d think twice before going back, not much selection of beer either if you like craft beer.

I love this place, I have always had a great time here! Food is good, chill atmosphere and reasonable drink prices. The owner is really nice too!

I actually like their food. Burgers are good and they have these little onion petals that are like pieces of onion rings. They are very good. Hot dog was good, but it had bison chili which I didn’t really like. I would prefer regular. But it was fresh.

I’ve been here probably two dozen times and I’ve never been disappointed. The service is prompt and courteous. The wings are THE BEST in Knoxville if you like *hot* wings. Their burgers are delicious. The beer and liquor is a decent price.
I would highly recommend this for a great weekday after work beer, a fun Friday night, or a great place to watch the game on Sunday.
As a nonsmoker, it’s not really as bad as people are saying. There’s a dedicated nonsmoking area which works pretty well with those «smoke eater» fans. That being said, your clothes will smell somewhat like smoke after going here on a weekend night.

Prices are okay. Service is okay. Food is okay. I’ve never been wowed, I’ve never been disappointed.
Shot specials are kinda iffy, but the pitchers are usually decent prices.
If you need food to sober up, I recommend the «Braggin Rights» a beef 10″ chili dog (it’s massive) and a side of sweet potato fries.

This Tavern is the best. The service is top notch and the owner is one of the friendliest people ever. I eat here about once a week and I love it. My only issue is the smoke, but it is mostly contained in only half of the bar.

We came here for the first time & the service was very good, the food was awesome! I had the SouthernBelle hamburger & Scotty O’petals & all of it was very good. We will definitely come back!!!

Slow service. Prices are ok. One pool table, I’ll take my money else’s where. They don’t offer a late menu, we got chips and salsa which is hard to mess up.

Liked the overall feel of the place but service was extremely slow. Full Monty fries were served on aluminum foil so you had to pick bits of it off before eating them so we gave up. Burger was cooked perfectly. I know it’s a smoking bar but they could do much better on ventilation. Again, loved the overall feel of the place but the bad service means I won’t be going out of my way to stop there again.

No idea how to accurately describe my experience. I sat at the bar for in/​out wings and beers. Bartender served 1^st beer pretty quickly and promptly sat on the cooler, back to the bar, and watched the celebrity basketball game. 20+ min and an empty pint glass later I cashed out… still hungry. Only thing worse than the music was the service. Will not return… ever

It’s a good spot — and the food is pretty damn tasty — but make no mistake; it’s a smokey pub. And take note; come early or the 21’s will ruin the relaxing and comfortable vibe.

Very smokey place & they blast hard rock to the point that you can’t talk to anyone.

I agree with Channa on about everything. I don’t mind the 21 and up part but I HATE the fact that is a smoking bar. It seems like all of the bars in the area are going back to the smoking and that is really disappointing. The chili was pretty good but because of the smoking I could barely taste it. Really the only reason I will come back here is to grab a beer after sitting at the VA next door for an appointment. If you are a smoker you will probably love this place. If you are not a smoker, keep looking for a good bar.

I like this place, and West Knox is in desperate need of another sports bar. Like a fool I went in on a game day 15 minutes before kick-​off, so the place was packed. It’s a decent size room and has a lodge like feel. I think it was formerly a place to buy ski equipment. Anyway, there are two patios one is pretty large and has a TV facing the main parking lot. The other patio is smaller and that’s where I was tthe first half of my night. Apparently, some Florida State fans reserved the patio, it’s TV, and corn hole section for a FSU football game, so I had to relocate in the bar. I didn’t know Knox had a die hard FSU fan base, but whatever.
My beef wiith this place is that it’s 21 and up all day to allow smokling inside. I’m just really over smoker’s bars, but if that’s your thing there are lots of cig and cigar smokers inside. The size keeps this place from being a total smoke pit, so if you are a non-​smoker it’s bearable. I watched the game, ate some good wings (get the 3^rd hottest) and watched the rest of the game from my couch…
