My absolute favorite place in Knoxville. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Great for a date night and be sure to get the truffle fries! Service is always top notch

This is the only bar ever that has FLAWLESS cocktails, classy surroundings and the bartender knows your name!!! They also have just made chocolate chip cookies. that is a hard to find item! We always get a Mojito and an Old Fashioned that are always perfect.

Excellent bar tenders who are friendly and knowledgable. The prices are great and the pours are even better. Good selection of wine, beer and whiskey. The place is a little dark, but that’s what they’re going for I assume. I’d only recommend diversifying the menu items more from their sister company next door.

I have been trying to get into this place for a while, it just never seemed like the right time or something always came up. The 3 very large flat screen tv’s were all playing SEC games so that was a great start. The plush cushion seating and heavily decorated area made me feel as if I were in a big city lounge. The lighting was a bit lower than I think it should have been. Not by much, but just a tad. The server was dressed well, sporting a bow tie. He brought some menus and water and waited for us to review them before returning. We ordered some truffle fries to start and began touring the wines that you could choose from. The selection is good, not outstanding, but good and way overpriced. To the point where, as a wine connoisseur, I felt was the reason their establishment had near four patrons the entire Saturday night. I mean, a bottle of Meiomi for $ 48 when it is $ 15 at the store?! That’s triple the cost. So, I was not overly impressed with the selections. I tried a new wine for me, at $ 12 for a 3 oz pour. It was very good, and I looked it up, I can buy it at the store for $ 20. Just way overpriced for the kinds of wine they offer. The fries were outstanding and the seasoning was to absolutely perfection. We ordered a bottle of wine anyway and a burger to split, cooked medium. The burger arrived in good speed and let me tell you, if you go here for nothing but the burger and truffle fries and order water — do it. That burger was an inch thick, I measured it. Cooked perfectly medium. The tomato was garden fresh and the seasoning, whatever it is, melted in your mouth. It was juicy and an absolute delight to eat. If you aren’t a lover of wines, they did offer a beer tasting and a substantial beer selection. Their cocktails also took up three pages on the menu so they are obviously talented in the drink section.

One of my favorite wine bars in all of East Tennessee. Their wine dispensery machines are uniquely fun and convenient. But the reason why I go back over and over again is for their Old Fashion. The waitress inteoduced me to Michters All-American Blend Whiskey, it is complete in taste, smoothness, and aroma. Combine Michters in a classic Old Fashion recipe with a the perfect bitter, orange, and a Maraschino Cherry and you have the recipe for a good night plus good flavors you can see, hear and taste.

Need to feel like you’re walking into a Chicago speakeasy while near Rocky Top? Look no further. With a creative menu and incredible swanky without pretension ambiance, I’d recommend anyone who likes a solid craft cocktail give this place a try.

Drink is like that person that everyone keeps telling you will be your best friend when you meet them because you two are so alike, but you almost don’t care to meet them because what if its not true?!. But then you do and you think WHY did I not make this happen sooner?! This is Drink. A hidden Bearden dungeon that is covered in crushed velvet. ohh la la. I’ve heard of Drink, always wanted to go, BUT as a downtowner-it takes a lot to pull me from the Mecca of everything. I visited last night with girlfriends, and was immediately sad that I have not been sooner! The inside is sexy, dark, velvet, and comfy! And of course, a credit card like contraption to try all the wines you would normally not get to try! There are three different size options to try, once you find a wine you would like to sample! This is great for someone like me who wants to try all the flavors, but is scarred to venture away and it be disappointing. For as little as $ 2.00 you can have a tiny pour to decided on a whole glass or not. GENIUS. The only downfall is how fun/easy it is to try all the different flavors, and thus racking up the dollars on your«card.» I also heard that their mixed drinks are amazing and crafted using fresh ingredients, I can’t wait to go back!

This place is absolutely amazing. I went here about a month ago for a girls night out & had the best time! Definitely an experience & I cannot wait to go back! The atmosphere was very nice. They also had food & drinks to purchase separately. Best Wine Bar Ever!

Creative drink choices that ended up being overrated and overpriced.

The place to go if you like to try a variety of wines. Men are likely to judge the atmosphere negatively at first glance, but relax and give it a chance. You will find it is well thought out from the music and lighting to the variety of seating options. I don’t recommend it for dinner because of the limited menu and the appetizer menu needs some work. But it is a fantastic place to relax with a drink and have conversation; either before or after dinner.

This place was incredible. I can see how this operation could be expanded to many cities. Dark, cold and velvet and leather. Very upscale place to go for a drink. Extremely impressed with the concept. Very impressive. Like Starbucks for the 6−9pm crowd. I can see big scale with this.

Definitely should of been to this place long before I did for the first time! It wasn’t busy and we were all okay with that. Elizabeth was our Bartender. We sat in a little seating area surrounded in red velvet curtains! Lights that looks like we were on a set of an old 1920s movie set. So many Cocktails, Bourbons, Beer, Wines, and small tapas style bites. Unfortunately we did not get any food, but we definitely enjoyed some yummy drinks! This night was super special because it was a good friends Birthday! Cinco Birthday! Woohoo! It made our night special! Get a chance you musy go! It is spectacular and gorgeous! Hope you get Elizabeth!!! She is mighty great!

I am not sure how to take the décor in Drink– lots of velvet and red. Besides that I had the freshest best greyhounds ever. Bartenders juice fresh fruit for drinks and you can tell a difference! Very good!

Cool and Sophisticated: Drink is one of my favorite bars to go to in Knoxville~ I really like the set up and environment of this bar. They have different seating areas to complement what you like: bar area, lounge area, and some table set ups. They have some nice large decorative art pieces that really fits the mood they’ve tried to establish. Awesome set up. I looove the selection of drinks they have here. I can always come here and expect to get a drink different than other places. I usually get the Rum Roe to start off with, and this drink is one of the owner’s creation. It’s an awesome drink! You can taste the spiced rum but it doesn’t overpower the drink. Really well mixed combination of flavors. I also wanted to try something else that night so the bartender recommended the Pear Tree. It was sweeter, lighter, and refreshing. Very different from the Rum Roe, but I absolutely loved it. If you’re not in the mood to try their cocktails out, they also have an awesome selection of wine to choose from. They have self-serve wine machines and will give you a card that you can use to try the wines they have on display. After you’ve tried and enjoyed your wine, you just give the card back to the bartender and they’ll charge you according to the wines you self-ordered. Pretty neat concept. Like most bars, they also have food for you to munch on but I haven’t had a chance to try any of those items yet. Drink. is a modern, sophisticated bar so the price point will be a little higher than other places. But the atmosphere, drink, and company make it really worth trying this place out.

Great concept Euro-style wine bar that is popping up in larger cities. Basically they have 3 wine carousels that dispense about a dozen wines each under a nitrogen blanket to keep the wines fresh. You pay by what you want to pay for…1.5, 3 or 6 oz pours. Here’s the amazing part: they offer some AMAZINGLYHIGHENDWINES! Examples: Pio Cesare Barolo, Caymus 40 Year Cab Sauv, Faust Cab Sauv, Martinelli Zin, Kosta Browne PN… WOW! And they offer MANY affordable wines to try as well. This is a GREAT place to try the wines first before you buy them. Good, friendly service in a cool, modern atmosphere. Surprising to find this type of modern, chic, high-tech bar in Knoxville! So please take advantage of this really cool place!

I was skeptical of this place when it opened a few years ago. Velvet couches? Paintings of what looks like cartoon super models, the length of the wall? milk and cookies on the menu? I have been back a dozen times. I really, really enjoy the vibe in this place and assure you it has much more to offer than my initial impression would suggest. First, the wine thing. In exchange for your credit card, you get a plastic card. There are three… carousels(?) of wine in the middle of the floor. When you find a wine you want, stick your card in the machine, choose the size of your pour, and voila! it is a great way to try wines you wouldn’t normally pick. You can see how this can get expensive, even though they have a nice selection of pricey to almost cheap to entertain. The hidden gem here are the craft cocktails and nightly specials, as well as the surprisingly good beer list. Also, not going to lie, those milk and cookies are pretty damn good! Nice spot for HH, a pre-dinner drink, and good people watching in busier times. I wish they had better offerings on dry whites, like a good chardonnay. On last night’s visit, the white wine carousel was full of super sweet wines and moscato-like concoctions.

One chic place to hang out for drinks is ironically called Drink. It’s an upscale lounge. They have nice upscale tapas, too. I didn’t try anyway, but they sounded good. I had a whiskey and water. It was good. I think it was about $ 5. They also have one of those self serve wine stations. This one gives you a card, and you drink what you want. Then at the end of the night, they add up your wine. It could be easy to rack up the total if you don’t pay attention. I enjoyed hanging out here. A person can chill at the bar or sit in one of the lounge areas. There were quite a lot of people hanging here. It seems like a good place to see and be seen.

If you have not been to this bar yet, it is definitely worth checking out. It makes you feel like you are stepping into another city, NYC, Atlanta, etc. It is located next to Bistro by the Tracks. It has a connecting kitchen so you will get the same excellent food. They offer specials like moscow mule mondays, which I absolutely love! They also change up their menu frequently. Now if you think you are ordering entrees, think again because they are bar bites, perfect for a long day after work if you skipped lunch. The first time I went here with a buddy, they give you a card to go around and try out multiple wines, and at the end you pay. I looked at my buddy and said how much do you think we spent. I said $ 50, he said $ 40. Wrong the total was $ 80 before tip. So just so ya know it can get a little expensive so prepare accordingly. A Friday or Saturday night is the prime time to see this bar packed. Especially if you are waiting for your table next door at Bistro by the Tracks. I am a fan, and know you will be to, so go try out some wines that you might not have tried before! It’s a perfect way to shop for a wine before you go to a liquor store :) Cheers & Enjoy!

Drink only recently opened but already seems to have a «crowd». When I got there at 9:30 the place was packed. The seats are lounge style booths with short tables and the back has a few dining tables for eating meals. The room itself has the tables on the perimeter to make room for the wine fountains in the middle. The design seems to be all about ambiance. The music is soft but unrecognizable, the TVs are playing top fashion designer runway shows, and the colors are black and soft velvety crimsons. I actually got a few outfit inspirations from those runways! The fountains or whatever they are actually are pretty cool. There are three in the room containing an assortment of wines dividend between whites and reds. At the bar you get a card to put in the machine and a glass, and then you insert the card in the machine to pick a wine and sample 3,6, or 8 ounces. Price depends on the bottle, but ranges $ 2 – 10 for the smallest sample. I pre-loaded my card with 20 bucks and was able to get about 4 small to mid samples. The machine also gives your balance. There is an «open tab» card too, but that seems dangerous. The bartender was kind enough to warn me someone ran up a big tab the other night by mistake that way. You can also get beer and $ 10 cocktails. The food is kind of upscale appetizers. Duck sliders, fish tacos, etc… So no chicken tenders here. I split the salmon dip with pita chips and it was really good. The truffles are great too. This place is owned by Bistro at the Tracks so they share a kitchen. All and all pretty good. I’m curious to see if the place takes off or if eventually people start dressing to match to TVs. I doubted in Knoxville, but a girl could dream.
