Was asked to move to a smaller table«just in case» a larger party were to come in. The place was empty. Waited 15 minutes fourfold that was never put in at all. Three tables are and paid by the time our food arrived. The food was typical stir fry food. Nothing overly special about it. the rice was crispy and the scallops were raw… $ 20 for lunch. the salad was good though.

Great food at amazing prices. The wait staff is very prompt and attentive. The menu is short but the plates are full.

This place is great for what it is. Small menu, delicious hibachi, fast friendly service, and inexpensive. When you eat in the restaurant you get soup & salad along w/a large plate of hibachi. I always get the chicken. This usually makes 2 meals for me. Hope you enjoy it. It’s kind of a Farragut institution. It’s been there as long as I can remember. If you don’t feel like dining in, then just go pick it up at the drive-thru! Cheers & Enjoy!

This is the Hibachi that I compare all other Hibachi too. No frills no thrills kind of a place. All food is prepared behind the counter. Great price and portions. Friendly staff that has been there for years. Shrimp sauce is so good I usually order that for my drink.

Fuji is possibly my favorite place to eat. The food is always fresh, their shrimp sauce is my favorite of any hibachi place I’ve ever eaten, and the wait staff knows my order by heart.(New people are confused why the wait staff doesn’t ask me what I want, but are amazed when my order shows up perfectly!) The décor is old and I could not care less. Fuji rocks.

Knoxvillians are the luckiest because Fuji. The fact that such quality hibachi is available in a drive thru is amazing in itself. They are always so friendly and the food is addictive. Huge portions. Can’t go wrong here.

A beloved Knoxville staple. The food is amazing and the staff is always friendly. They give you enough to last you two meals. Ever since I moved to Colorado, I have dreamed of their food and have tried so hard to find something similar. Sadly, I’ve come up empty handed. I always make sure to hit up Fuji at least twice whenever I visit my Knoxville home.

One of my two favorite Japanese restaurants! The food is always fresh and the drive through is great. The prices are very well worth the quality and quantity of food you receive.

Limited menu, very basic interior, slightly dirty. The prices are very reasonable. Generous portions but mediocre food quality.

Excellent food, always hot and quick, I can never finish it all and I’m a big eater. I usually get the shrimp and chicken combo, it comes with PLENTY of rice, delicious veggies, sweet carrots and if you get it to-go they give you plenty of their signature shrimp sauce which is to die for!

I’ve been going to Fuji’s for 6 years now. From the first time to now, the food is delicious & the service is great. I’ve never had one single complaint or issue, which is very hard to say with restaurants these days. You get your food quick every time, too. They also have a drive-through so if you want to take it home you can stop there & it’s pretty quick, too. Fuji’s is a rare original restaurant in a sea of chain restaurants in Knoxville.

I love this place. The food is always fresh, wait staff is attentive, and the price is great. My kids love it too. So the décor leaves something to be desired, but if you’re in a hurry for a good, healthy lunch, look no further.

The food is consistently good. For fast food hibachi, best I’ve ever had! It is fast, filling, and doesn’t make me feel terrible after eating it. Again, the food is consistently good here, and the service is excellent.

When I relocated to Nashville I knew I would be leaving an amazing Japanese grill behind. Their food is done right. By that I mean… loads of great quality food for a very manageable price. Like the other reviews say«It isn’t very showy», but it is very clean. The service is fast and friendly. If you are low on cash split the price with a friend! If you have a large family, go through the drive-through and make a meal of it at home! I have always been a fan of the Fuji Grill for many years, so whenever I am in town I make it a point to stop by and reacquaint my tummy with an old friend!

Fuji has large servings, generally consistent quality. Store is family owned(not open on Sunday, if the family goes on vacation the store is closed for how ever many days they are away). The building used to be a dairy queen a few decades ago and has a drive through. Fuji makes good use of this and still provides sit down service and carry out. The menu is simple enough, hibachi chicken, teriyaki chicken, steak, shrimp, all the combinations of the 3. A serving will usually have rice, zucchini, onions, mushrooms, sweet carrots, broccoli. If you want to split a meal with someone you can have them add extra chicken or steak or whatever to even out the portions as you like(for a reasonable upcharge). Their health inspections seem to consistently score in the 90s which I consider a noticeable plus.

I like Fuji. I said this on the Talk board, but Fuji is essentially like Wasabi but without the show and little less nice. The guy that mentions the cleaner is right that it smells, but isn’t that a good thing? I like this place. They have a drive-thru which I like. I don’t notice a major taste difference between this place and Wasabi, but I notice a major price difference! If you work in the area, you should try it out. Tons of food. I usually have leftovers.

So, Mark B. may be right; but I have to disagree about the food-quality. Although the facilities are lack-luster, it DOES have that great independent quality to it. Plus, the food itself is really great. Ingredients taste fresh, the service is nearly always quick, and if you eat in-house after 5pm, you get a bonus salad dish. Stay away from the seafood combination’s though, stick to the tried-and-true Chicken & Steak combo. …Of course, pink sauce makes everything tastier!
