Hh Gregg Appliances

This location is horrible. My fiancée + I went in to buy a new TV on Friday. A salesperson came over when we were looking at TVs, which was helpful, until we said we wanted to talk privately, and she didn’t get the hint. Fine. No big deal.
After we decide on a TV, the salesperson told us that we could get the 36 month payment plan. As we were waiting on our TV to be pulled around, the salesperson comes out to say that we had to do the 24 month payment plan. A little perturbed, but fine, no problem, I plan on paying it off way before then anyway.
We eventually get our TV, and the guy helping to load the TV just got shoulder surgery. A little strange that he is helping load a heavy TV, but fine.
Once we get our TV home, we see that it is shattered. Getting a little more irritated, but not exactly anyone’s fault. We call and they say to bring it back.
After we load everything up, drive it back to the store, we are met with attitude from the staff.
They take their sweet time to get the new TV and we eventually find out that they have unpacked it so we can check the TV out and make sure «it is up to our standards». This gesture was transparent and we really wish they didn’t unpack it to interrupt the packing integrity, but whatever. Clearly they are trying to protect their selves under the guise of helping us.
The manager never once apologizes for the TV (or the rest of the staff) and continue to make coy comments, which is not an ideal way to deal with customers who just had to waste their whole evening driving back and forth to HH Gregg.
At the end, they told me to sign here. When I asked what I was signing, they got very irritated with me and four members of the staff stood around me glaring. It was very unusual, do people sign things without asking what they are signing? Especially since the first TV was shattered? Sorry I asked?
It may just be this location, but I am done with HH Gregg after this experience.

Went to store to pick out an open box item. Had it scheduled for delivery. Was called at 7 am on day to be delivered and then 40 minutes later to find out they gave my machine to someone else. Spoke to several people there no one really cared about it. A friend of a friend works there that’s why we went, asked us what happened we got bad mouthed that they tried to deliver our machine and we refused it. No one ever came out to our house ever. Still have no washer machine have fingers crossed we get it tomorrow. Was being generous about two stars. Take your hard earned money to best buy or the turkey creek hhgregg. Where they know how to treat customers
