I get delivery from here consistently and they stop delivery«thirty minutes before close» but I call at 9:32pm and they’re not going to go above and beyond for customer service. Why even bother answering the phone? Honestly. I thought the hibachi steak was tough but I never mention it because I try to be positive. Honestly delivery restaurants should be open considerably later than they are. I’m not satisfied at all. I will try the early bird special somewhere else.

I have got to stop giving this place chance after chance. Sporadically, I have ordered from this Hibachi Factory for years, and during that time, I have always been so disappointed. I most recently ordered from here about a month ago, and it was no exception! Poor quality of food, long delivery wait time(if you have it delivered), or dingy environment if you eat in. My order is very rarely correct, and if I call to try to rectify this, customer service is VERY poor. It stinks because this is such a great concept. Do I want delicious hibachi style veggies, fried rice, and different meats delivered to my door? YES. Yes, I do! Do I want dry, crunchy undercooked rice with over-boiled veggies on top that I wait an hour for? Eh. I’ll pass.

Always a great experience! Order online and have it delivered all the time and the food is always hot, accurate and fairly quick delivery. When calling in I’ve also had a pleasant experience with the staff.

This place is a dam joke. I have order twice from the one near the ut campus. The food really falls short or good. The last order was almost 16 dollars, didnt even have a quarter or steak on it and they charge you 1.50 more for that. Plus it looked so nasty. The fried rice had big clumps of white rice in it and the shrimp wasnt even what was advertised. They used little nasty baby shrimp not even disappointed.Ill never eat there again. If ya got any smarts, stay away from that place. And dont expect them to do much for ya, they claim its the owner, which is never around. That place gets no stars from me. Its a joke and a rip-OFF.sorry this is making give them a star. Aint my choice. Sad place to eat.

I wasn’t expecting much and they delivered on my expectations. A hole in the wall place on The Strip. Pretty small portions, chicken stir fry, for price, although it was good. My first and last time here.

Quick and easy food. Nothing super impressive, but it hit the spot. Staff was friendly and up beat.

Catering dinner review Food: Romaine lettuce with craisins, wonton strips, cheese: I picked out the cheese and had everything else. I don’t think it came with dressing. I used this to dilute the veggies. The wonton strips were crunchy! —Some places have it sitting for days and it gets stale. Zucchini with onions — the only veggie dish I enjoyed because it wasn’t drowned in sauce. It was lightly stir fried so you could actually taste the vegetable. Hibachi vegetables — drowned in sauce. I think they do this for the non-veggie fans. Similar to when we were kids and always avoided the veggies so the chef would have to hide the taste or cut it so tiny so you won’t see what you’re eating. Some people, like me, love the natural taste of veggies with a hint of spices occasionally but of course nothing beats a creamy sauce. Sautéed mushrooms — drowned in sauce. I think they used white button mushroom and I’m not sure about the freshness. I’m a huge mushroom fan but this specific mushroom needs to be cooked a certain way to taste good. Unfortunately, they failed. Sweet carrots — remember grad school crinkled cut carrots? Well this looks like that but isn’t mushy. It’s a very sweet carrot. Possibly glazed? It didn’t look shiny but I was a very sweet carrot. White rice with soy sauce? I’m assuming this is for color. Sweetened and unsweetened tea in quarts — I think it’s Lipton tea. Supply: lots of soy sauce, duck sauce, hibachi sauce, utensils, and napkins Overall, maybe I’m just not a fan of my own ethnicity food? Or maybe I just have higher standards. Everyone else loved it so does than that make me the odd ball or picky? I say picky.

It used to be very good. I don’t know what happened. It still has its days, but check your food before you leave and make sure you got what you ordered.

This is japanese-style fast food. I went to the Hibachi on Cumberland(there are 2 other locations in Knoxville). I was pleased to see that they offer brown rice. The chicken wasn’t great, but passable. I prefer the zuchinni and onions to the carrots. When I dropped in for the first time, they offered a $ 5.50 dinner special. The late night hours are the major advantage here(close at 11pm Sun-Th, 1am Sat). I won’t necessarily frequent this place very often, but I will keep it in my back pocket for when I need decent, cheap, fast food at odd hours or when I am super busy.

Blah! I decided to check out this place because I was in the mood for something different. Some people told me that the food was good, quick, and convenient but I beg to differ. The food is so greasy and the vegetables do not seem fresh at all. The shrimp isn’t tender felt like I was chewing on rubber. The rice was so oiled up that it lacked flavor. Also, it took them a good while to deliver my food to the UT library. But I guess you can’t expect a decent hibachi meal for $ 10.

Pretty standard hibachi. You get a ton of food for the price and it always tasted good. No thrills, but is definitely worth it. As the other posted mentioned, the glaze is very sweet, but I liked it.

Standard chop and grill restaurant with the options of chicken, beef, and shrimp. They also have student specials. You have the option of glazed carrots or zucchini with onions. All I can say is – uhm, did they dunk their carrots in molasses? Their glaze is sickeningly sweet… sweet enough to cause diabetes on the first bite!
