This is one of the coolest coffee shops I’ve been to. It looks like some did an incredible garage remodel and there is outdoor covered hammock seating and nice indoor trendy area. Author Jarod Kintz said Starbucks tastes like the«charred remains of Hitler’s soul» and I think he was onto something. Since discovering K Brew I don’t think I’ll ever see another friendly Knoxville Barista wearing the green apron. K Brew has rotating coffee offerings roasted all over US from small roasters. I had some Ethiopian from Huckleberry Roasters. Yes this place is hipster with loads of MacBooks and dudes with skinny jeans and nice shoes, but I stayed for an hour in Carharts and work boots and felt right at home too.

I love k brew so much I got engaged here! Their coffee is wonderful, never have I gotten anything that wasn’t fantastic. Even just a cup of black coffee has so much flavor. I will say though, I miss the old location on Broadway. Now my beloved small Kbrew is regularly filled with college kids making the trek out to my scruffy north Knox neighborhood. It’s so crowded sometimes there isn’t a seat, and I do miss the vibes from their little tiny shop. But nevertheless I will always love Kbrew the most. Oh-also get the vanilla cinnamon latte sometime!

Good coffee and wifi, and they also have really comfortable hammocks to sit in. Occasionally it’s crowded, but that’s only because their good.

Excellent smooth coffee! The whole beans to take home smell so good but are on the pricier side compared to competitors. Still… you can tell simply by sniffing the bag that they are the real deal and likely very worth the $ 18 price tag. The environment is chill. I was hoping to get some work on my laptop done but space was limited and the place was packed. I ended up grabbing a local paper and chatting with a few of the employees about what to do in the area for a newbie to the city. Fun fact: they have several hammock like seat swings and doors that open to expose the whole store to the outside on a gorgeous day.

Super friendly staff, great mango tea, fast wifi, comfortable seating areas, especially outdoors on a pretty day. You can even sit in a hammock. That’s right, a hammock.

I adore this place. I am a Knoxville native who currently lives in Pennsylvania, but I make sure to visit K Brew every time I am home.

Great coffee, well worth the travel from Farragut while we were in Tennessee. I love the hip atmosphere, the plenty of seating to chose from and cool uniforms. Everyone was super friendly and the place was clean. The kids were tots satisfied with their larger than life cinnamon roll and the hubs was in seventh heaven with his four shot vanilla latte. I loved the beet/apple and something else juice they sell. The kids even drank half of it. The outdoor/indoor swings are fun but can be too much fun for the little kiddos.

K Brew’s new location is awesome, and definitely bumps it up to a five star. K Brew has always had awesome coffee and an awesome staff, but the old location was so small. The new location has lots of seating and even a room with hammocks! Definitely one of the best coffee shops in Knoxville!

Plenty of parking space across the street, great coffee, and hammock seating available on their outdoor seating area. The only thing they are missing is a sign outside! Lol!

K-Brew is one of my favorite local spots in Knoxville! The coffee is superb(much better than that Seattle based chain), and the baristas are all top notch at creating delicious and beautiful drinks. If you’re not sure what to get, just tell them your tastes and you’re bound to get something amazing… I promise!

Amazing off-the-path coffee stop. There is not a lot else around but it is worth the drive. Friendly staff and great lattes!

Their coffee is so good. The flavors are really potent in their drinks! The staff were very nice and accommodating. The environment is terrible and cramped, though, so I wouldn’t hang out there. They also seemed pricier than other places in my opinion.

The hype is completely justified. Completely. Justified. Their espresso is amazing.

My coffee shop litmus test is a regular latte. If you can have a latte with a full flavor that doesn’t taste too milky or like burnt espresso, I’m on board. This place maybe has my second favorite latte in the city. It has a great flavor that doesn’t need to be tempered with sugar. At some point, I’ll try one of the regular drips that rotate each month. I just wish the place was bigger. The two times I have been are Sunday afternoons, and because of the time the traffic has been moderate. I can usually squeeze unto a bar stool and setup my laptop for a little work. This place probably can’t seat more than 10 people at a time, so I think many use it as their favorite place to pop in a grab a coffee to go. I highly recommend this place, but don’t expect a seat during peak coffee hours.

But first, coffee… K Brew sits in an unassuming location near the 4th& Gill area on N. Broadway. I have been here several times and every experience has been great. The space is small but I’ve never had any issues grabbing a seat and the bar is perfect if you need to refuel on caffeine while getting some work done. Outlets are available for recharging all your electronics and the staff is friendly, fun, and knows their way around a coffee bean. I am not a coffee snob but I will say the caramel latte is magnifique. On the weekends, you can sometimes find food trucks like Cruze Dairy Farm or other vendors like the Vagabond truck(a roaming boutique) parked outside. I don’t know about you but shopping the latest trends while sipping on a Spanish roast coffee is my idea of a perfect Saturday afternoon. They have continued to win over the hearts of everyone in Knoxville(and Alton Brown) and they have certainly won over mine.

The freaking best bagels and coffee I’ve had in a really long time. Whenever I come through town I make a point to come to K brew, you just can’t beat the taste and quality. Plus it’s ridiculous how kind everyone is every single time I’ve gone I’ve had incredible experiences with the employees. I really want to try their breakfast bagels but apparently they’re so good since every time I’ve gone they are out! Seating is limited so that’s the downfall but if it’s a nice day it’s great to sit outside and soak up the goodness that came through has to offer. Hands-down one of my favorite coffee shops.

First let me just ask this: Has Alton Brown EVER been wrong? I mean seriously?! He’s pretty much a genius and not just culinarily speaking. So when he deemed K Brew in our little city of K Town one of his favorites, I hope you were taking notes. This little space does it all right. Don’t come here in a hurry because they aren’t rushing to get you out the door. They take their time and craft your caffeinated concoction to perfection. Their house made chai is some of my favorite in town. It’s spicy, creamy, and like something found in heaven. If you need something refreshing on a hot day, their iced lattes always hit the spot, but their iced peach tea is fabulous. Their drip black coffee is delicious and if you prefer to drink your coffee with your pinky up, they have some great pour over/siphon/french press options too. If you have work to do, throw in your head phones, pull up to the bar, and plug your laptop into any of the readily available plugs. The staff here is super attentive and friendly beyond all. This little neighborhood spot has certainly found the winning combination of service and quality.

As often as I come by K Brew, when I saw they added bagel sandwiches, I knew I had to stop by just for them. Over the course of two trips, we tried all four new bagel sandwiches and all four are amazing. They’re not too cheap, but you really get what you pay for. The bagels are splendid and the combination of toppings is even better.

The espresso drinks are fantastic. The staff is very knowledgeable about their drinks. For those not familar with the different types of drinks, don’t be intimidated. They won’t push you away, rather they would educate you on all the possibilties and techniques. Seating: there is bar seating of about 8 around the inside perimeter of the place. two table tops inside. two patio tables outside. Free wifi and outlet plugs. oh, a doggy bowl of water for your friend will be outside. The menu includes: pour over, siphon vacuum, aeropress, cold brew, espressos, and teas Sweets: homemade biscottis are to die for. choc almond, yum! Parking: street parking in residentials off Glenwood, private lot off Broadway, parallel parking off Broadway, lot by bike shop only after 5pm. Kiddy corner parking only on non event days. bike parking is found off Broadway. Tip: service can be a bit slow. please have patience for the staff as they are working their best to offer quality products. Don’t forget to leave a decent tip of monetary value
