Kings Towing and Service

I called this tow company and gave them both the mile marker location on the highway of where my car was located and the address of my mechanic. The man I spoke with refused my credit card info at that time and said he would call me in 30 – 40 minutes once he had arrived and could calculate the mileage and tow price. In retrospect, that could and SHOULD have been easily done over the phone. I didn’t receive a call for two hours (I was asleep and missed the call because it was now later evening hours). He towed my car to the mechanic but did not leave it there saying there was no drop box for the key. While that may have been the case, what he did next is the issue… He then towed my car back to his location at MY expense and charged me additional fees to return it to my mechanic in the morning! I was absolutely outraged. The total charge was $ 215.00! I had no choice but to pay to get my vehicle delivered the next day. He didn’t even recognize that this was inappropriate and bad business! I do not understand why the car was not just left without the key in the lot adjacent to the mechanic. I would have been happy to get my key in the morning from him, so there was no liability with him leaving the key insecurely. Instead he chose to tow my car back to his location (completely unauthorized by me). BEWARE of this company! I am certain that they ripped me off! Also, they claim to be 24 hours but I could not get in touch with anyone inbetween 8am and 10am the following morning. This delayed my car being delivered the next day AND worked on, so I ended up being without a car for an extra day while the work was completed the following day. It appears that they keep hours that are only convenient for them and do not honor scheduled times! Do yourself a favor and find another tow company!

Reliable, friendly service. Was dropped off at my place of business after leaving vehicle with mechanic. Made a headache day a bit easier! Recommended.

Prompt, friendly and efficient service. They accept credit cards. I had a positive experience and would use them again. Well, I hope I don’t need their services for a long time but I know who to call if I do.
