Logan Magic Shoe Care

Got the job done. Customer interaction is a bit on the curt side, and the shop does not utilize any sort of computerized inventory tracking so retrieving your shoes may take longer than is typical, but compared to some other shops in town this one is adequate. Could benefit from some organizational upgrades and friendlier staff behind the counter, however.

Been using Logan’s ‘off and on’ for over 15 years, and I’ve never been disappointed in the work performed, and the service at the front desk (plus — there’s a wonderful German Sheppard to talk with!). I try not to be too free with the star thing, but Logan’s Magic deserves the Full-​FIVE.
I’ve taken 25-​year old Danner hiking boots (the old, well-​built heavy leather style) in for 3 resole jobs, numerous dress shoes for half-​soles, and other leather items in for re-​stitching, and have always left with a good feeling about the place, kinda like I got MORE than I paid for. Logan’s has a wonderful ‘small town’ feel, something that I miss in Knoxville these days. Their rates are very reasonable, especially when one considers that the tasks undertaken are all performed by a knowledgeable, professional, non-​grumpy, repair owner/​operator with AGES of experience and expertise. Not only does he repair your shoes, he makes ‘em «look right».
If the item is beyond repair, they’ll tell you; and they’ll tell you why. I like that! Too many places are all gung-​ho about getting a job, and then fluffing their way through it.
Your footwear will be returned with a light polish, clean, and in a carry bag, and offered for an inspection before your order is tallyed on the cash register. They offer a discount for pre-​paid work, too! Parking is no problem.

Quality work. Shoes not simply repaired and handed back but polished and returned in a protective bag. I’ve tried two other shoe repair shops in Knoxville and of the three, this one wins hands down.
