I’ve been meaning to write a review for quite some time now, and couldn’t be more delighted to share my experience I had at Marc Nelson last month. I walked in upon referral from another local business down the street, so I took them up on it and strolled on over a few miles down the road. I was immediately impressed by the décor and unique displays the shop had chosen for the showroom section in front. While the product and décor was impressive on its own, I was truly taken aback by the incredible attention to detail regarding customer service. I was greeted by Andy, who was the nicest person I had met during my entire trip to Tennessee. He was immediately inviting and offered the kindest of demeanors. He asked me what I was doing in town, and I replied that I was in town for business. Revealing that I was also in the custom menswear industry, his eyes lit up and went to the back to grab the owner, Marcus. He also matched the unwavering hospitality that Andy gave upon entering the shop. We had a great chat in two tufted leather chairs and compared notes on the industry. He then lead me on a personal tour to the back of the shop where the jeans are made — which I greatly appreciated. In this day and age, customer service is king. I was certainly treated like one.

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Knoxville, TN
Stopped by this cute little Knoxville establishment just before the Unilocal event at Saw Works next door. For real? Where has this place been all my life? On a more serious note, Knoxville needs to check this place out. Marc Nelson Denim is a world renown line based in little Knoxville, TN. Other than being a local store, the finished denim is sewn locally(in the same building according to the employee I talked to) and they do custom work for individuals with specific tastes. The store itself is adorable. A very charming blend of modern and antique. Their locally designed denim(pants for men and women, shirts, T-shirts and even aprons) are proudly displayed. It is very easy to tell that the material is superior and each piece is thoughtfully made. I thought the prices were reasonable for the quality of the product you get and they had a sale rack! Mark Nelson Denim is a super easy walk from the heart of downtown. Head down, take in the sight and purchase an exceptionally made local attire. You will be glad I sent you their way :)
