Felt like a local place even though it’s surrounded by hotels. I ordered the grilled pork chops with a house salad, green beans and asparagus which were a $.99 up charge. The pork was cooked fine. It was supposed to be grilled in a marinade that I didn’t want. I have them put it on the side. It is overly sweet and mostly what I tasted is dijon mustard but It was supposed to be a Jack Daniels marinade. My biggest complaint was the asparagus they are boiled it to a pale green lifeless blob. I bet the water they boiled it and tasted better than the asparagus did. As I was by myself I sat at the bar as I usually do and the service was fine.

This place has a very professional feel and is ideal for business lunches. Their Parkside salad and bread is pretty good. Servers are very attentive and parking is also plenty.

I must say, it has been a while since we have experienced this type of high-quality customer service at any restaurant. My wife received her Ph.D. last night at UTK and the graduation was from 7pm-9pm.(fire the person that chose this time) As you can guess, the time presented a challenge for post graduation dinner plans, as most restaurants in Knoxville close at 10pm on Thursday nights. Thus, I decided to contact Parkside Grill ahead of time to see if they would accommodate our party of 30.(after calling a multitude of spots) To my surprise, the managers were accommodating, pleasant, and solution oriented over the phone. Well, fast forward to the night of graduation. Sheer chaos theory and complexity. Having graduation that late on a Thursday night was a horrible decision. Traffic, congestion, and chaos ensued. We literally didn’t get out of the coliseum until 9:30pm(the time of our reservation) AND we were stuck in a parking deck for 30 minutes due to gridlock congestion. We were afraid that the restaurant would not allow us in, being that we arrived after 10pm. We called to let them know that we were late and they said everything was fine. When we got there, we were allowed in, and they treated us as if it has just opened. They even kept the bar open for our party. This was a clear example of sheer professionalism and high impact customer service. They served our party and were pleasant, flexible, professional, and patient, even though we got there late. I want to say, thank you to the management and the servers for accommodating us and showing us that there are still great restaurants with impeccable customer service in East TN. Everyone enjoyed their meal and were highly impressed. What a great way to end a hectic day. Again, thank you!!! It really made our night! BTW– that strawberry cake is transformative!

Thus place is ok. More like a higher end Dennys. The service is very friendly. The food is average free WiFi which is nice. Overall cool place nothing special at all. I order fish and chips it’s was just okay and coleslaw taste store brand fish was homemade nothing special and the fries were a bit too salty and cold.

Bad service by an unprepared server and small portions of tasteless food. Overpriced joke of a restaurant. Too full of themselves to actually care if patrons have a quality experience.

Service was the worst I think I have ever had took 15 mins to get a wine to me. Food was okay. Not worth the ridiculous prices they charge here. Took another 15 mins to get an extra blue cheese for my salad and just as long for a box. Kept having to hand the server empty plates and glasses, the bread baskets that were empty bc she wasn’t otherwise. There wasn’t a lot of room at our table for the empty clutter. Will not be back

I give this place only three stars because of the service. Our waitress was so slow and I had to chase her down for everything! They wern’t that busy. Chances are her manager dosen’t know this is the case. Great atmosphere, great food, don’t think it’s a chain, that s a bonus.

I’ve loved the Lakeside, Parkside, Riverside family for years bc the food is consistently wonderful and the service is fantastic. A few things I recommend that you should not miss are: the bread, the strawberry salad, the chicken tenders, the sweet potato casserole, and the HOMEMADE strawberry cake & key lime pie cheesecake!!! Most recently we met my folks for lunch and my husband had the halibut special. I’m not big on fish but I do enjoy halibut when he makes it at home, so I never order fish at restaurants. Well… this halibut was amazing! Tender, juicy, and some nice blackening seasoning. I will definitely ask if they have halibut the next time we go! This family of restaurants is great for family gatherings, lunch with friends, or even a romantic dinner with your love. Riverside is a real loss, but at least we still have LS and PS locations!

Eat here !! Great food at reasonable prices. The rib-eye, the strawberry salad(minus the blue-cheese) were all great. Bread and the sweet potato casserole. All good !!

Parkside Grill is fantastic, the dining room was very cozy — nice fireplace and rich woods. The food was excitement and the price was very easy on the palate. i had Combo Sandwich– a gourmet Club and a wonderful Ceaser Salad, others had the Buffalo chicken sandwich and a Reuben. All raved about theirs. Fresh bread was a wonderful start to meal.

It is Sunday, date night for me and my lady. We were shopping around for a place to eat close by the theater off North Peters road. I made the executive decision and whipped into parkside grill. We were greeted and promptly seated. It was around 7:30 the restaurant was steady, but not crowded. Konnor came to the table to greet us to take our drink order. I ordered the salmon with dill and mustard and my S.O. ordered The sirloin with asparagus. We both had the French onion soup to start and a glass of house wine. The house pinot noir was nice. The pinot grigio was palatable. The soup was tabled by the manager and Konnor followed up to check on us shortly after. I was super happy about the timing of the dinner. We weren’t rushed right into our entrees sand had ample time to enjoy our meal. Although I was extremely well fed Konnor neglected to offer desert, but we had already decided it wasn’t plausible anyways. Maybe he could tell? My only concern was the salmon and how it would be cooked. It came out perfectly cooked. The mustard was a but strong, but I was extremely satisfied. All in all 5 outta 5. If I ever in the area again, I’d come back.

My boyfriend and I ate here tonight it was my first time and my boyfriend had not been for a few years. I was really uspet at the quality for the price. I ordered the rueben and he ordered chicken fingers. His food was not seasoned. My rueben was 3 slices of overcooked beef. 10.95 for a rueben with no meat! Also my glass was somewhat dirty! We are both pretty broke so this place is fairly expensive for us. We were both upset that we came here. Not going back.

Food equal to Cheddars or Chilies. My big concern was the service!!! My red head server, Katie, was very unfriendly and rushed my order. When asking her a question, she replied I’m too busy right now and walked away. I would expect this type of service maybe from a fast food restaurant. Very disappointed! I shared my experience with the staff at the Embassy Suites. Be warned!!!

We were looking for a relatively simple quality meal and got what we were looking for. My wife had a seafood pasta and I got the rocky top burger. Both excellent. I am a craft brew fan and while they had s decent line up of maybe 5 – 7 craft beers, they range in options was limited to typical ales. I tried 2 locals and they were good, clean and in style. Service was friendly and attentive, without being annoying. Server was knoledgable on the menu, beers, and wine my wife ordered. My kid got a children’s dish that was reasonable and appropriately portioned. What I liked about the place was it’s versitlity; you can show up here in a suit or jeans and feel not out of place. I wouldn’t call it economical, but it felt appropriately priced for the venue. I liked that it is locally owned. We don’t do chains, at least not national ones.

BIGKUDOS on a fantastic meal on November 20, 2015. We were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday. He had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. I had the spicy bow-tie pasta and a stout, delicious pomegranate martini. We shared the best fried pickles I’ve ever had at Parkside(or anywhere). Dessert was the Kahlua brownie with ice cream, which my husband had been craving and was the reason he chose to eat at Parkside. Here’s why this entire meal was a very big deal… My hubby is a type 2 diabetic and does not deviate from his very strict diet all year long, with the exception of his birthday. This was a rare, very important dinner for us to enjoy together. The food and service were unbeatable, from calling ahead for seating to leaving with smiles on our faces after a perfect meal.(I believe our waitress’s names was Kristina. She was really excellent and should be recognized for outstanding service.)

Underwhelmed by the basics, didn’t offer a second drink, we had to pull silverware from another table, never offered dessert. That is all before you add the food. My wine glass was dirty/sticky all over the base of the glass. I ordered blackened salmon that was clearly not! The manager came out to offer me a new one in a disgustingly dirty shirt. My chili was not warm enough to even melt the cheese and the husband’s chicken. Pot pie crust was not mixed well and parts were just egg. Save your money and go anywhere else.

Grill with many of the usual all American favorites– with a southern twist. I had their meatloaf(meatloaf with a caramelized onion gravy topped with fried onions, green beans, and I substituted the potatoes with stir fried asparagus) which was recommended by the waiter. It was excellent, especially when washed down with a regional dark beer they had on tap. Service was very good too. Prices were excellent given the quality and presentation of the food. Very pleasant atmosphere.

One of my regular haunts for happy hour. Excellent bar and lounge area. Early happy hour includes wine, beer, cocktails and apps. Rather quiet until around 4PM, but a great place to chill or work. Great bartenders!

Stopped here while in town for work. The patio is great on a sunny day, but there is a lot of traffic noise. I had the strawberry salad which was delicious. I also really enjoyed the bread they offer, sort of a ciabatta bread which was perfect with my wine. Recommend for a nice meal in a relaxed atmosphere.

Not sure if Parkside Grill is a chain but it certainly feels and looks like one. I came on a Monday evening and was seated right away. Since I was in the area on business, and alone, I took a seat in a nondescript section. Service was quick and friendly and my drink and side salad arrived in about two minutes. Very good side salad with crumbled bacon! I had a cheeseburger– and apparently Monday’s are burger night — and I wasn’t disappointed. It was cooked to my direction and served on a toasted bun. Tasty with a side of fries. All in all Parkside Grill is an ok place. Nothing that stands out but certainly nothing to complain about.
