Not the place for a party. Had a reservation for back room to hold company party for Christmas. We gave no guarantee except we would have 30 to 50 people who could order whatever they wanted for diner and desert. We had magnums of wine and appetizers on a separate table. We had 33 people. When the bill came they had added a 400.00 room charge in the middle of the bill. When we complained to management they first said it was because we did not meet a certain dollar amount which we never agreed too. Then it was because the waiters were being cheated. We were happy with our service and offered to leave the 400.00 and add another 100.00, they agreed. What we did not realize till the next morning is they had already added a tip(which they left on) and had figured that tip using the total with the 400.00 room charge. A 725.00 tip for a 750.00 tab… Shame on me for not noticing there greed. Won’t ever be back

The food is not authentic at all. It doesn’t even taste very good. I got a Cuban and onion rings. The Cuban only had a little ham, no pulled pork and very little cheese on a hoagie bun. The onion rings looked very tasty but they had an odd flavor. The service was good and the staff nice enough. The atmosphere was very bland. I wouldn’t go back.

We had scored tickets to the Vandy game and came here afterward for dinner. We had been to Pero’s a couple of years ago and it was«good, not great,» with the big plus being the very helpful server. This time, we were seated quickly and handed menus. The server told us about the specials and we saw that there was a band playing. After some time for debate, my young bride selected the chicken pita wrap and I chose the steak wrap. We agreed on the crab cakes as a starter. About five minutes later, my young bride observed that«We should have been asked for our order by now.» So I looked about and the server saw me craning my neck then rushed over. He apologized, then took our food order. The band began playing while we waited. It turns out that The ReRuns specialize in playing television theme songs. One of them was the theme from«The Greatest American Hero.» This began the single unpleasant part of our day, as the drunk, obnoxious chick behind me insisted that it was the theme song from«Rhoda.» Not realizing with whom I was dealing, I corrected her — nicely. She then decided that she really wanted attention and started singing and playing music on her phone. The women she was WITH didn’t even want her there. She attempted to get a rise out of me by talking loudly about me as if I weren’t in the room, but I ignored her; you can’t fix stupid. The crab cakes arrived and were delicious. I got a Saw Works Brown Ale to accompany the food and it worked well with everything. My young bride(who loves the Pero’s tzatziki) was very fond of her chicken pita and potato salad. My steak was just a touch overcooked, but the wrap was wonderful and the sauteed spinach side is something I will try at home. We will probably try to avoid going on evenings when the band plays in the future, as we converse non-stop normally; but if you like the idea of the band, the ReRuns are good at what they do.

Food and service are great. They need help decorating and with the sound. I can’t remember a place that was so annoying loud that it ruined my meal. Please fix the terrible acoustics especially in the back room. I love the food and I want to come back but only for take out until they get an interior update.

This place is great! Came here for the first time tonight for dinner. My friend ordered the quesadillas, I ordered the pero’s fettuccine, and my other friend ordered the chicken fettuccine. Everything was wonderful. The atmosphere was so cozy and warm and inviting. The server was great and friendly and very knowledgeable. For the price of the food(around $ 12 for my dish) the portion was very big and I had enough leftovers for lunch. I love this place. Pretty cheap food for good quality and big portions. I could tell everything was homemade and very fresh. Will definitely be back again ! :D

Pizzas are pretty good. Homemade-style pasta sauces are good as well. Always very busy and packed house. Good atmosphere. Great to-go as well. Will definitely return.

Saturday night, 9:40pm. Although the restaurant closes at 11pm on Saturdays, according to the website and signs on the doors, we’re sent away because they are closed. Ouch! If you intend to shut down before 10pm, please don’t advertise that you’re open until 11pm!

1st time visit. Started with iced tea with a lemon & glass of wine. Lemon must have been cut yesterday. Lipstick on the wine glass. Shrimp & grits good. Spanokapita was good but bland. Chicken pita was ok but not much flavor. Orzo salad good. Descent restaurant but nothing special at all. Pretty boring flavor. We’ll try it again & order pizza.

I have been to this restaurant 3 times. The food never disappoints. The pizza crust is always crisp and the ingredients are always fresh. One less star due to the waiter not even asking if we want dessert or coffee or tea. He just gave us the check. He had to redo it because we did order dessert. Good service goes a long way.

Peros is a unique dining experience that includes Greek and Italian dishes that are really tasty. We’ve been going there every few weeks since our first visit and haven’t had anything less that a 5 star meal. Try the Greek lasagna, it rocks!

This is a really good restaurant as close to the original Peros as it gets. Enjoyed the Greek salad, spaghetti, $ pizza. Brings back memories of Pero’s in the 70’s etc

The food was great. The staff were helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is ok but the food is well worth going back for. Decent beer selection too.

Everything is consistently good. I eat here about once a week. I always try to get something new, so I have had most everything on the menu. I can’t find one negative thing to say about it. I usually get it delivered, so I don’t know about the staff, but it has never been incorrect, nor have they ever forgotten anything.

I’m surprised that this place is so highly recommended. First off, I’d like to address the dining atmosphere. It’s a big open area with very cheap smallish tables scattered about. There is no ceiling, but rather an exposed tangle of industrial wires, pipes, and insulation just hanging there over your head. The night we were there, there were very bright lights dangling from electrical cords from where the ceiling should have been. Several patrons asked to have particular lights turned off as they were shining directly into their eyes. A server stood in a chair trying to unscrew the bulb and told the patron«I hope this fixes it, because I’m starting to get pissed off over having to fix everybody’s light.» Next, the food. We ordered hummus as an appetizer, I had a steak sandwich and the spouse had a Greek lasagne dish. I couldn’t eat mine. The meat had a very ‘off’ smell and was fatty/gristly and just tasted bad. The husbands lasagne was ok in the top layer, but the bottom layers had a burnt flavor. It just wasn’t very good. The hummus tasted exactly like mediocre commercial hummus from the grocery store. I just can’t recommend this place. I feel that if the owner truly cared, they would install a ceiling and proper lighting. Everybody has an off night, so I may give them a 2nd try, based on all of the positive reviews. If so, I will update my review.

Brittany the manager is less than helpful. Ordered to go Chicken Salad. after getting back home discovered there was no chicken and the order was incorrect. I called back and she asked what she should do. She didn’t offer to replace the salad. To redo the salad. She just seemed helpless.

Pero’s has an extensive menu based upon Sammy’s(the owner) Greek heritage. His mother is first generation and comes in to make Spanikopita, etc. by hand. Sammy makes a wicked good pizza. If he’s in try the Stinky Greek! If Steve is cooking ask for some wings with his signature hot sauce. Steve makes the most amazing wing sauce you will ever have. It’s super spicy with tons of flavor. He puts a great deal of time and pride into making it. It’s not just hot that will burn your tongue. It has deep complex flavors that continue to build as you eat. The sweat will rise on your brow and you will begin to see voices! That’s what spicy is all about … heat, flavor, sweat and cleansing the soul! As for servers, Briteny & Robbie are great! Once you’ve been there a few times, they will know exactly what you want. Hell, they’re all great! Pero’s is a fantastic locally owned neighborhood gem. Enjoy

We have been back several times since my last review. Very consistent on food quality and service. I really love their pizza and spanakopita but we have had numerous items on their menu and have not been disappointed. Still no beer list but the last couple of times the waitress actually knew what they had.

Visiting in TN and friends took us to this little spot. Very cute and relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. We started with the hummus and Greek fries. The fries were great, I loves the taziki sauce! For dinner I got the shrimp and grits and it was delicious! Lots of shrimp with fresh tomatoes and capers. The grits were done polenta style and were great with the edges just a little crisp! It was very tasty and not too heavy for a more southern style dish. My bf had the gyro and said it was very typical of gyros and ok.
