After hearing all of these great reviews, I decided to try them out. I am not sure what is special. To me, it was your run of the mill American style restaurant. The prices were fair. The portions are decent. Nothing stood out, though …

Fantastic waitress and great food. Truly enjoyed the crab cake and scallops. Shrimp had a wonderful seasoning and flavor. Will definitely return when back in area.

Good, but I fear it is expanding too fast like Aubrey’s and losing a lot.

Being newly relocated to beautiful East Tennessee from the West Coast, each weekend, my wife and I try to eat at a new restaurant. Our goal of defining an «A-list» of those culinary treasures is so that when our friends from out West visit, we will have a list of restaurants where we can hold bragging rights. After all, it is definitely NOT all about California.(Grin!) This afternoon, we descended upon Puleo’s Grille at the recommendation of one of my wife’ colleagues. As soon as we walked in, we were charmed by the Neopolitan décor. All waitstaff members wear tan slacks, white shirts and full white server’s aprons. Even at 3:00 pm, the place was a flurry of activity. We were seated in a both where we had a full view of the lobby, the dining room the bar, and into the kitchen by way of half-rounded windows. The seats were comfortable, the cloth napkins thick and more than adequate, the floors and walls were clean and the bathroom was immaculately clean! The menu is quite large with moderately priced appetizers, salads, pastas, steaks, seafoods, specialty drinks and desserts. I ordered the seafood ravioli with a Caeser Salad and my wife ordered the lasagna with meat sauce. A fresh small loaf of hot bread with butter was delivered along with our drinks while we awaited the entrees. My salad was served in an ice-cold chilled salad bowl — nice touch, but I was a bit disappointed that an anchovie or two were not included in the mix, and it was a bit too peppery. When our entrees arrived, they were served on piping hot plates. The aroma was wonderful. We each shared portions and were pleased with the tastes. The lasagna was mouth-watering infused with delectable spices, cheese and tomato sauce. The sausage mixture was a carnival of flavor worth of any palate. The seafood raviolis were served in a seafood/lobster cream sauce and were as good as any I have ever tasted. So good were they, that I cut each of them into four pieces just so I could savor the flavor longer. Puelo’s definitely goes to the top of our Culinary«A-List» and will be one of our regular dining out establishments.

There is no Puleo restaurant at this location. Their other locations are good food and service.

While visiting family in October– I think we came to this restaurant 3 times. My grandpa really enjoys it(and at 86– he deserves the right to enjoy his food) I thought this place had a good menu– lots of lunch options. I had the pizza each time(being a vegetarian, there wasn’t a whole lot of options for me, but I made due). Good place, nice atmosphere and better than Charlies!
