Cafeteria style (so food’s not PIPING hot, but warm). Reasonable pricing. Just remember; they close from 2:15PM thru 4:00PM on Monday to Saturday.

I love this place, homemade mash taters and Mexican cornbread. Someone paid for our dinner service has always been 5 str !!! OPEN 11:00 to 2:15 pm them open again at 4pm.

A four generation family favorite lunchtime destination. A good variety offered at a fair price. The staff is pleasant and eager to assist. Their iced sweet tea is absolutely the best in all of Knoxville, and the waitress will gladly give you a cup to go after your meal, which is a special treat, since I rarely care for anyone’s iced tea.
The offerings are tasty, home style comfort food. I usually leave after lunch feeling completely satisfied, and most times even skip dinner. It is that satisfying.
I highly recommend S&S to anyone who appreciates good, home style cooking. I only wish there was another location on the north side of town, the west Knoxville location isn’t very convenient for east and north Knoxville.

Driving to Missouri and through Knoxville at dinner time was a pleasant delight to fine on Unilocal a great review for S&S Cafeteria. The squash exceedingly salty the liver was overlooked and leathery. The creamed potatoes were fluffy and delightful. Vegetables were very tasty and the custard desert was exceptionally delicious. 4 star home chef Otello.

Always has been tasty and reasonably Better than most food places in this town!

I love this cafeteria. Something for every taste. Salad, great meat dishes and the vegetable choices are many and really good. Desserts are good and they offer smaller portions for those that watch carbs.
We go on Sunday after church and are always accommodating to large parties. Server Debbie is very nice and helpful.

The people were very nice, friendly, and helpful. I will go back soon!

You have to know what this is. Old school Cafeteria food for the elderly. But if you take it for that, it’s just ok.

Greatness

This is a good option for vegetarians. They have a variety of vegetables you can try. It’s «home cooked style» food. It’s not authentic, but it’s cheap so I dont think it’s supposed to be. It’s different from fast food places and steak houses.

Sick Sick Sick! Don’t be surprised if you find something peculiar in your food. I think the employees that don’t want to be there put it in your food. I found a wad of hair one time in my black eyed peas. This place barely passes their health scores which screams one thing in my mind. DIR-​TY! Don’t eat here if you can help it. Also be careful driving around the parking lot here because you could easily get hit, as every senior citizen and every cadillac and buick are in this parking lot around 5:00 pm. If I could I would only be giving this place a half of a star.
