Amazingly fun place. Great bartenders who are fully versed in what they have and are willing to build a flight based on a customer’s likes and dislikes. We didn’t really know many of the beers on the 22 taps. Our bartender was all too willing to recommend options. It was a great place.

Great selection. Good atmosphere. The place for craft beer downtown. They will allow you to bring outside food in and will even make recommendations for you. Excellent selection and staff.

They are all that they claim to be– simply a place to stop by for a beer, with one of the largest craft beer selections in the area. Just keep in mind that there aren’t any food or bar snacks available, so it’s best to stop by here after dinner. Not only are there plenty on tap, but there is a large selection of bottles that you can buy and enjoy later as well. We stopped in at the end of the night after dinner just to try some unique craft beer and we weren’t disappointed. There is bar seating, a few tables, and some couches and chairs for seating. It almost seems like a bit of a hipster hang out place though. We enjoyed the Hofbrau and the Belgium Rose Golden Blonde Ale, which were nice nightcaps. They are right around the corner from the parking garage which makes it convenient to stop by on the way back from dinner.

A really neat joint. The beer selection is unbelievable and the seating is cozy. Nice big bar and friendly bartender. Only stopped in for some beer while we were waiting for a table toped up at Stock & Barrel. Actually wish the table didn’t open up so soon! Can’t wait to go back.

This was my first time in Knoxville from up north(Chicago). We were pleasantly surprised with this bar. Natalie provided great service and conversation, as well as help deciding on beers. She provided great dinner recommendations and talked to us about the surrounding area. One thing to note is they do not sell food, but welcome customers to bring food from other places. Definitely would recommend stopping in!

Alright this place is pretty dang cool. When I walked in I was a little confused. I was also a little drunk, so who even knows what I was thinking. It reminded me of a gas station on steroids because the beer selection was ridiculous, but they also had a bar area with a handful of beers on tap. I loved that you could buy it by the can, or by the pack. I’m indecisive and that came in handy. The bartender was also very attentive and answered any question I had. This place is low key, but thats its charm. It’s the perfect place to wind down, or get the night started. I didn’t notice there being a strong smell of glade air fresheners, but I have about 4 throughout my house so I honestly would have loved that ;).

Oh man, the only amazing thing about this location is the great beer selection. But there are more flaws than I ever expected from a Casual Pint location. I was highly disappointed with the warm temperature of beers on tap, the warmth of the beer in the refrigerator area, and their opinion of using what the bartender stated as a «chilled glass» to make the beer more enjoyable. Wrong, the beers we had were at room temperature and the chilled glass was absolutely NOT chilled at all, far from it. I had high expectations but sadly they have managed to run the skillful art of pouring cold beer(warm beer) in a glass(warm glass).

Great rotating selection of beer on draft and a wide selection of bottles and cans to take home. Even though it’s busy, it’s never so crowded we can’t get a seat and the service is great. This is almost always our first stop when we head downtown for dinner. Stop in for a draft or take home a six pack or growler.

I’m new in town but not new to craft beer. When living downtown Knoxville this place has not only been welcoming with the great staff but also the best to find different brews!

As an out-of-towner staying in a nearby hotel, The Casual Pint was an awesome find! They have great selection of local beers on tap and also allow you to mix and match your very own 6-pack to-go from their nice bottled offerings. I stopped in at 10:30PM on a Saturday night and the 2 bartenders did a great job keeping up with the crowds’ orders. No food is prepared on site, but the bartenders are more than willing to offer up a few suggestions for nearby eateries that can deliver to the bar. I recommend Tupelo Honey right next door if you have a soft spot for Southern cooking. I didn’t notice any wine or liquor for sale, so this place is really targeted towards beer lovers. That said, the staff should be able to find something in their extensive selection that even beer haters would enjoy. Overall, I had an excellent experience at The Casual Pint and look forward to visiting them again on my next trip to Knoxville!

When visiting UT-Knoxville we were walking around and looking for a place for an after-dinner drink. At first we walked by this place and didn’t realize what it was(although the name is very obvious — I blame it on the food coma we were in). We walked in noticed the NUMEROUS draft selections they had, on top of 2 huge coolers of bottles and cans. The staff was very helpful and suggested drinks based on our preference. Most drafts were $ 4-$ 6 and the cans/bottles were also very affordable. It’s a great place to go and try something new. Word of warning — if you are looking for a Bud Light or non-beer drink … go somewhere else.

I love the option of grabbing a craft beet but also being able to take it home! A great addition to market square, especially with a few bars already within the square serving up craft beer. I have been to The Casual Pint a few times, and have always had room to sit and enjoy my beer ! They usually have around 20+ craft beers on draft and have two aisle of take home beer. They have two open coolers where you can make a you pick 6 for $ 13 and they also sell six packs! They also have my beloved grapefruit radler to mix with my gin. The Casual Pint has a few other locations in the Knoxville area so check um out!

Upon walking into this establishment I could not help but notice a very heavy smell of glade air fresheners. It literally almost threw me into a migraine. I had to take 2 tylenol immediately. They should be careful of people with sensitivity to air fresheners. Other then that, restrooms were clean. Had alot of different beers in the cooler area. Had to then walk outside to get fresh air.

I love this place. Any time we have a night out with friends, this is usually our first stop. It can get pretty packed in the evening times. especially on the weekends. I would recommend trying the banana nut bread beer in the cooler!

Maybe it’s because Jesus just died, maybe it’s because all the college kids are gone or maybe it’s because it was a deluge last night. Regardless, this experience was MUCH better than the previous $h!t show. They must have read my Unilocal review, obviously, because they had TWO bartenders! Still a wide variety of local craft brews mixed in with some other national brews. Also a great place to pick up a pint or 6 to go!

There are two great things about Casual Pint: the incredible range of beers and the ability to put together your own six pack. Then there’s the option to actually drink one of them right there, so that’s three reasons. And it’s right on Market Square, so that’s four(five if you consider how great it is to have a last stop for a drink before walking to the stadium for a game). Finally, there’s the ownership. They’re super amazing. If you squeezed them until beer came out and bottled it, you would have to call it The Nicest Beer in the World. So that’s six things. Casual Pint is great.

With a huge beer selection, nice ambiance, and fantastic location, this place has a lot of promise. TURNOFFTHESIXTVS! No one wants to watch the bartender watch Friends…
