Upon walking in, this place was freezing cold mind you it’s 54 degrees outside and it’s warmer outside then in this establishment!
Rediculous!
I ordered over medium eggs, received over easy eggs, very runny. The waitress then asked me how the eggs are suppose to be cooked. Seriously???
I told her to just tell the cook over medium…
They made it right.
I would return. The waitresses were very nice… considering I was having a bad night.

Best Waffle House I have ever been to. I usually get 2 sausage, egg and cheese biscuits to go. Good price on those.

My first visit to a Waffle House although they’re ubiquitous all over the south. The location is very convenient, right off I-​40. Not an old building, but has a very retro looking lunch counter and dining area. Great service with three friendly people helping to serve us. They made our order immediately bringing it our table before we knew it. The food is just decent nothing too special, just fast and hot. The best thing about Waffle House is people watching. It’s like a piece of Americana preserved in time.

What to do for good late night eats after seeing a show in Knoxville? Drive to the closest Waffle House, of course. Not the fanciest WH I’ve been to, but the double SSCCD did not disappoint.
