Hate the name, love the food! For years we have driven past this little gem and never really thought about coming in because the name just did not inspire. For whatever reason, one day we stopped in and now we are hooked. The burgers are delicious and the fish tacos are amazing. The staff has always been fast and friendly. Now, it is not doing our waist lines any good but when they wheel me into the ER, I will be grinning ear to ear.

Normally I have a good experience here but after a situation I have now learned to not use my debit or credit card here. A server accidentally charged me twice and tried to fix it after another staff member comes up to help her. With the way the both of them were talking I’m thinking ok they fixed the issue and the money has been put back on my card. I then see the charges on my bank account but working in retail I know it sometimes can take several days for the money to be put back on your account. So I played the waiting game and kept my receipts just in case. After finally realizing that they didn’t put the money back on my card I decided to notify the company. I emailed them about the problem and gave them the order number. No response period. I really like their food but if this is the level of how they handle these types of problems with no response or contact period then it worries me how other situations are dealt with. Bottom line ask for an actual manager and use cash.

This is the best restaurant option in the mall. Service is always pleasant and fast. Like all We’re Cooking restaurants, the food and ingredients are the absolute best.

I never get excited about local owned food establishments in a food court. But this is just amazing! They cook your food to order give you a pager so you can sit at your table. Just a few minutes later my pager goes off, and I received freshly fried fish, shrimp and chips. Had to wait a few for them to cool down. Fries where nicely seasoned as well. Very nice portion.

This location is in the food court of West Town Mall, so you won’t be visiting unless you are in the mall and hungry, as I was. It wasn’t bad. I could have done worse, I suppose; but you should take this review with several grains of salt, as there are so many other options there for lunch, snacks, or a quick dinner. Service was quick when I visited, but in a mall food court that may vary. If there’s a line, you can’t blame them. The young fellow(I didn’t get his name) who took my order was attentive, but not overly friendly or enthusiastic. Who cares? you might ask. Well, I note on the receipt it says«Reg 02: Owner.» You might hope the owner of the franchise would be enthusiastic. I hoped so. I ordered the«Swisskie,» a burger with swiss cheese, mushrooms, and grilled onions, one of their three prefab offerings — their general approach is «make your own.» The burger itself was good, and they did not stint on the cheese(which is more expensive than the beef). I noted with some surprise that the bun was toasted. The whole was pretty good! I had it as a combo meal, with fries and a drink — they serve only Pepsi-Cola soda products, no teas, coffees, energy drinks or such foofaraw. The cup of Pepsi was predictable. The fries were thick crinkle-cut, not bad, although certainly pre-frozen. I have to knock them here: I like salt and pepper on my fries. They had it available, but hidden in a tiny corner of the counter. Likewise the napkins. Hey, «We’re Cooking»? People eating your food is not an afterthought. People eating your food is why you’re in business to begin with. Don’t make it so inconvenient for them to eat it.
