Very mixed on this place. Bacon was pretty good but at $ 15 a package… We bought 2 of the dry aged streaks at $ 45/lb and the were inedible. Bitter, vinegar taste and couldn’t eat. Called to let them know and did not receive a return call. Not looking for a refund, but wanted to alert them in case the meat was going bad. Also purchased sausage, pork chops, and smoked duck breast. Spent $ 237 all in all. Guess we won’t be back.

Great apple smoked bacon! Actually everything I’ve tried has been delicious! And the homemade sausages are also all wonderful, andouille, red pepper, bratwurst, etc. Great selection only docked a star because the prices are definitely on the high end of things. Nobodies perfect lol

Great options of meat here! Bought some huge pork chops(you don’t find this size anymore people) an some sausages. Both were wonderful. Highly recommended.

My review is as a customer coming in for a gift certificate. There are a LOT of meat options. From my understanding the meats are all hormone and antibiotic free. The butcher selects the animals himself from area farms so there is no question that the meat available at Willys is top of the line. Willys has sausage, steaks, heritage turkeys, roasts, ribs, pork, beef, and chicken. Willys has their own processing room and takes Monday every week to process meat. Willys also has a dry cure room, the only one of its kind in all Tennessee(outside if a restaurant) AND he can smoke entire pigs for you and bring the smoker with the pig right to your party. Don’t party plan without contacting Willy! Oh, one last MUST! ASK about his Apple Wood Smoked Bourbon bacon! It will beat Benton’s bacon by a MILE!

Finally a proper butcher with quality meats in the bearden area. Prices are what you’d expect, great variety of sausages. The actual butchers name is willy, super friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to heading back there again and again.

They slice up cows and make em taste real nice. Kinda tucked away but I think to me that makes the meat taste better. I mean, it doesnt’ really do anything to it, but it sure does have some type of secret placebo effect. Go here, they are kind and help you divide up cuts to suite the meal you are trying to prepare. Grass fed beef and many other options. A modern day butcher. Thank goodeness!

A little mixed on this place. The meatballs were fantastic. The pork shoulder was a little on the high side at $ 5 a pound. I can’t afford to smoke too many 10lb shoulders at that price. The whole chickens were good and reasonably priced. I’ll go back and try some of their other reasonably priced items for sure.
