The waitress, seems to be rude hasn’t ask 1 time how it is or if I need anything I’m out of salsa and would like more to go with the chips I have she can see I have none but, don’t seem to care. The Fajitas are good but they give me a tea spoon of guacamole, and sour cream and the same of Pico enough for 1 taco when I have enough steak and peppers and onions for 3 or 4 very disappointed in the waitress I don’t believe I’ll come here again

Not a big fan of Mexican food, but Don Poncho’s has a pretty delicious menu. The chips are always so warm and crunchy.

Food is outstanding. Chips were warm. They give you mild & hot salsa. I personally dislike mild salsa so I doctored it up w/their green habanero sauce at table & that makes it better imo. I had the steak tacos with rice & beans. Huge portion! The plate took up ½ the table. Steak was juicy. I loved the tomatillo sauce & toppings. It’s very spacious in there w/huge booths. Service is very friendly but a bit slow. In fairness to the servers I have no idea how they can go from 1 end of restaurant to the other in a timely manner b/c it is so huge! When in Kokomo this is my favorite mexican restaurant.

Great food. Good prices. Average service. Free chips and salsa. I’ve been here twice – once last year, and once last week. I first found this little gem using the Roadtrippers app because we wanted some good Mexican food when driving from Holland, MI back to Cincinnati, OH. The outside looks… less than appealing. However, the inside was a huge surprise! It’s unique and much larger and nicer than you’d expect from the outside. We loved the food and were happy to have found a great local place when driving home. Fast forward to this year. Totally forgot about this place, but we were making the same drive back from Holland and needed dinner. After a huge stretch of no food besides McDonalds, we pulled off the highway to look for something(no help from Roadtrippers this time). To our surprise, we happened to get off right where Don Panchos was! Remembering the great food last year, we stopped again – it didn’t disappoint! I’m pretty sure this will be our new go-to restaurant on the way home from Holland. A double order of fajitas is super delicious and way more than enough for two people, and only $ 24! Plus, like any good Mexican restaurant should, they bring you free chips and salsa. However, due to my hunger I fill up on the chips and salsa and then can’t eat as much of the fajitas. Try to eat chips in moderation, the fajitas are worth the wait! My only compliant is the service is soooo slow. The restaurant was pretty empty, and yet we were there a little over an hour. It took probably 15 minutes to get the check after we finished eating, and there was really no reason for it. It’s not like there weren’t servers available, they just moved really slow and didn’t check back or bring things promptly. If you’re not in a huge hurry, this is definitely the place to come for some quality mexican food. Plus, they have killer lunch specials – which I haven’t had since I tend to drive by here at diner time – but it’s super cheap fajitas on Mondays and Fridays!

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants however lately it seems as though it has gone downhill. The service has gotten slower, the food portions are smaller and not as fresh, and it seems like I am always having to try and track down someone to refill the tiny salsa cups.

What a great surprise! Don’t judge this place by the exterior. Fabulous décor, excellent service, great food. The steak tacos are particularly good… expertly seasoned and very fresh. Yum!

Love this place! Every time my boyfriend and I come here it’s really good. I enjoy the Mayan decorations and atmosphere. We usually have the same waiter, he’s really nice and always seems like he’s the only one there. When things get busy he is still very on top of that. Good service! The food is yumz too. I always end up getting the steak fajitas and my boyfriend really likes the Chile rellenos. It’s really hard to not fill yourself up on the tortilla chips though. When you get them they’re fresh and warm.

Awesome food! They made fried avocados per special request! Carne Asada is delicious. Lunch fajitas are a great deal. Everything is good and the service is friendly and quick.

The food here is very tasty, the prices are reasonable, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s a bit more tex-mex than super accurate, but it tastes delicious. The décor is really lovely.

Great Mexican restaurant. As good as any Mexican joint in Indianapolis. Great tacos. Try the Choriqueso(cheese with spicy meat). They primarily service the employees of Delphi and Chrysler, so they have fast, courteous, prompt, and accurate service to process the lunch crowd. Excellent service, good food, great queso and crunchy fresh chips. Need I say more?
