One checkout line open with several people making large purchases, when manager opened a register — he did NOT ask for«the next person». A line jumper pushed ahead! When my turn arrived, I casually mentioned that this occured — he denied that he said, «Can I help someone?» and the man was the next person in line. Lady behind me argued the point, and he was very rude to her. When I said she was right, he told us both that he «knew what he said». Attitude is everything.
