Enh… it wasn’t terrible or anything, but it wasn’t really all that good either. The dishes we had seemed to fall into the all too common Thai food trap of spice without flavor.

Love this place! Great Thai food! Love the green papaya salad, crispy spring rolls and green curry. Toi knows how to cook and deliver on taste. I am always satisfied after eating here.

The Pad see ew with shrimp was better than the pad Thai with shrimp, but both were mediocre. Not enough flavor. Spring rolls were good and the sauce with them was very good.

Who can turn down a food truck — I surely can’t and especially if it’s cute, yummy food smells coming out of it, and a ton of people are there for it. Had great Thai food to go — spring rolls and the chicken larb salad(spicy which is what I wanted). So delicious and can’t wait to go back. Service is a little slow, but worth it given that everything is cooked fresh and made to order. There are a lot of bold chickens around(to be expected since you are in Kauai), but these ones will jump on the picnic table and literally take food off your plate. I hadn’t seen that at other places. These 2 women were eating while I was waiting for my order and the chicken almost stole the entire plate. So sassy!

Really authentic Thai food. I have been to Thailand and this is on par with the food I had there. My girlfriend loves it too. The only drawback is long wait. Definitely worth a trip if you are into Authentic Thai food

Quick, friendly, great portion sizes for prices, and good location. Chickens running around making it an authentic feeling. I liked the picnic table and easy access to Koloa.

Vegetable spring rolls were decent. Crispy rolls were soggy by the time we brought it back to the hotel. Not impressed at all with the Pad See Ew and Green Curry flavor was good but chicken was rubbery. Expensive for a food truck. Never again.

Very good food, nice flavors, very authentic. They keep the spices milder so if you want something really spicy, tell them ahead of time. Decent prices. Worth a visit to the food truck.

They weren’t open the day before when they were supposed to be. We came back, originally for Thai Iced Tea only, but we ended up getting Chicken Fried Rice too(to go). The drink was a bit on the sweet side. Fried rice was simple but nevertheless tasty. We waited a while for the food but the lady was quite nice. 3 ½ stars.

One of the many delights in kauai. A must try if u love thai cuisine. To our surprise it turned out to be a food truck, but with the Hawaiian weather and the calmness of the town one must definitely pay a visit. Quick clean and delicious food.

Good thai iced tea and generous portions of solidly done food. Flavors could be stronger but likely tailored to a more general audience. Basil chicken had plenty of fresh veggies and white meat chicken, and comes with good rice and a salad with slightly spicy dressing. Massamun curry was a little on the sweet side, but still a pleasant dish. Overall, a dependable place to get a satisfying meal.

Really enjoyed the tofu pad Thai and the red curry chicken. We saw them at the Hanapepe Friday night fair and the truck smelled so good we had to get some! The red curry was nice and spicy with big chunks of eggplant and chicken. The pad Thai had a ton of peanuts on it, which we like! Super flavorful and fast service, even with a longer line.

I had the pad see ew with tofu, it was nice and spicy! It had the right amount of heat and the veggies and noodles were perfectly cooked. We also had the fried rice and fresh spring rolls, which were delicious, especially the peanut sauce. My only complaint is I wish they didn’t use Styrofoam.

Feeling a bit bummed. This food was so good and they even stayed late to make our dinner which was totally appreciated. But I’m not sure if they were rushing because we didn’t get our fried rolls that looked to amazing. Kinda stinks to pay for something and not get it. If you get take out check your bag to make sure it’s all there. I’m sure it’s an honest mistake but left feeling a bit disappointed.

I can’t believe this truck has such few stars — I guess we were lucky to catch it when it was open! We were desperate for some serious Thai, as Austin is lacking in this department. Craving Thai was fast, fresh and SOGOOD. My panang curry was spicier than I expected, and I loved it. My husband had pad see ew that was amazing(they use smaller noodles btw). This was the most reasonably priced meal we had in Hawaii. Don’t skip out.

The food is so good it pains me to not give 5 stars. I’ve just had terrible luck trying to get what I ordered or finding them open during business hours… Today I waited 30 minutes to find that only 2 of my 5 items were there… The chef is very skilled, flavored are bright, fresh veggies and very consistent. I hope I have the patience to try again– Thai is my favorite and there’s nothing else South/west of kauai!!! Maybe I just have bad luck– I recommend you have your own successful experience cause SOGOOD.

The real deal here. Cheap by Kauai standards. Auntie makes some Ono Thai. The Thai ice tea and coffee was only $ 3.00. Pad Thai was right on as was the green papaya salad

Kauai Food Truck was closed(blame Hawaii time) so I drove over to Craving Thai who seemed to be a lot more reliable in sticking to their hours in March. Was looking for something light and went with their Thai Salad with Chicken, medium spice. Had a really nice kick and was really a large size for $ 8. A good amount of chicken as well as a ton of fresh veggies. Loved the fresh basil in the dish. Really great Thai flavors. Other dishes I saw going out looked very good as well. There’s several parking spots here as well as plenty of seating. It’s really good food and really reasonable prices(for Poipu area you could say a bargain). Well worth a try.

So rude. Couldn’t get the attendants attention to place an order. Stood there for about 10 minutes with no line. What a shame.

For a food truck this place gets 5 stars. It is not too expensive and their food is very good considering it is one lady cooking out of a truck… and her peanut sauce for the veggie rolls is seriously beyond amazing. My boyfriend lived in Thailand and traveled through SE Asia for about a year and he said their peanut sauce was the most authentic he has had since then. Their rolls are very good and I was very happy that they were very accommodating and let me replace the tofu in them for chicken instead. We went back twice and got the rolls both times(basically just so we could lick the sauce out of the container until there was nothing left). The first time we got the chicken basil(pad kra pao), and it was SO flavorful! I was very impressed and happy that it wasn’t too spicy, but they didn’t try and retard the flavor like many thai places do to appease americans. The second time we tried the red curry chicken, which again was very flavorful and delicious. The only thing I would’ve liked more is if there had been a little bit more curry sauce. The portion was much smaller than the chicken basil we had the day before. Also, we tried both the thai iced coffee and the thai iced tea. I usually love thai iced tea, but wasn’t the biggest fan of it here, but that might have just been me because my boyfriend loved it. I did however, LOVE the thai iced coffee!
