Crystal Harmonics Sound Art Kauai

Crystal harmonics is like a secret gem tucked away in the old Koloa courtyard (the courtyard itself is a historical Koloa ‘must-​see’, it’s ‘behind’ the Ukelele Store, can’t see it from street, but it’s a worthwhile treasure hunt!). It has become my #1 favorite place to buy gifts on Island (sometimes gifts for myself hehe!) The store has an appealing & uplifting ‘vibe’ — the space itself feels ‘healing’, light and airy — a gorgeous ambience for enchanting, dulcet sounds of ‘singing’ crystal bowls. It’s more contemporary than ‘new-​age’ more like an inviting & interactive gallery (as opposed to a dark, cluttered, incense filled bohemian place!). They have a well thought out selection of gift-​type items & indulgences — ‘Big Dipper’ Beeswax candles ($ 3 & up — a ‘must-​have’ IMHO!) fragrances & oils, meditation ‘supplies’ cushions etc, sarongs/​silks, lovely jewelry by local artisans (the sandalwood necklaces look & smell divine!), these great heart-​shaped stones & individual crystals — some quite rare, starting at $ 2 (something for every budget — gotta love that!) lots of other ‘cool’ & unique items and of course crystal singing bowls! if you’re not familiar with the beauty & healing power of the bowls — Fear not! the husband & wife (store owners) seem happy to demonstrate! I was a skeptic until I heard a demo. & literally ‘felt’ the tones resonate within me, you have to enjoy it first hand to get a sense of it — whatever your ‘persuasion’ it’s a fascinating experience … The owners are super, super nice, patient & happy to chat & educate. I’ve never once felt pressured to buy anything or hurried at all — I think they just truly enjoy sharing what they love with the world!. I would recommend calling the store first if traveling far or pressed for time — they sometimes do crystal bowl meditation sessions at a certain time (open to all) & as with most small-​staffed Local stores sometimes they gotta eat lunch! (They’re only human!)… still, I personally like to call first to check their schedule that day … Can’t say enough good things about this charming store — even if you visit just for ‘the experience’ … make sure you do visit! You’ll either leave with a beautiful, unique item or simply a Beautiful feeling — but probably both!

Beautiful gallery run by lovely people– both Crystal and Robert are warm, spiritual, artistic and the time we spent here during our recent stay in Kauai was a highlight. We bought her singing bowl cd and some lovely clearing sprays and gift items, and experienced the Wednesday evening (free) sound meditation that they do weekly. A sacred space was created, Crystal introduced the bowls and their properties, and played them for our group. Truly moving experience-​I want to start a collection! The seed was planted.
