Alana is amazing!!! I highly recommend — if I could give more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat! In preparation for a family portrait session, we (myself, SIL + MIL) hired Echelon Beauty to help us look picture perfect beforehand. Alana styled our hair & applied our makeup, and I cannot say enough good things about her. She is so fun, professional, and incredibly talented. She made us feel beautiful, which was reflected in our portraits. If I didn’t live so far away (Seattle), I’d use her for all of my special events.

Danielle came to our home on the north shore with tons of equipment and transformed my mom and I into beauties for my wedding day! We had our hair and makeup done and felt like princesses on my special day! Danielle did a fabulous job with our updos (which we both remarked didn’t «hurt» at the end of the day… ladies, I’m sure you know what I mean when I say that… usually all that tightly pulled hair and tons of pins cause some scalp aching at the end of the day! But this was NOT the case with our updos!). Danielle made the environment a comfortable one for us as we chatted away and enjoyed our afternoon together. I had eyelashes applied which I didn’t feel at ALL and the airbrush makeup stayed on the whole day! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! A true joy and awesome find in Danielle at Echelon Beauty!

I had my hair and makeup done for an event and Alana knew exactly what worked for my skin tone and style. She is so knowledgeable and aside from being a master at her craft, she is so dang fun! The airbrush makeup is a must and for someone who doesn’t wear a ton of makeup, she did an amazing job. She was prompt, answered my emails on time and is an all around professional. THANK YOU!

Alana did my hair and makeup for my wedding in July ’15. Alana arrived early and had everything she needed to do both my hair and makeup.
It was literally so hot and humid on my wedding day but you could not tell that from my hair and makeup she did. It lasted all through the night, through tons a kisses, watery eyes and severe humidity.

Alana. Is. Amazing. I am not a bride that likes wearing much makeup, or fussing about my hair, and Alana was so patient with me & the result was stunning. She was able to make my makeup & hair look natural, light & beautiful. She is so easy and fun to work with, and is an absolute pro. We had a widely varying range of people in the bridal party, and Alana made everyone look fantastic. From my mother in law, to the flower girl, and even my man of honor — Alana is skilled in every type of skin, hair & age variations. I just can’t say enough great things about Alana — except to say I would enthusiastically encourage you to book with her :) Thanks Alana!

About two weeks ago I booked Alana for my hair and make-​up and then about a week later we added three more people for her to do. She made it work beautifully by bringing an assistant Danielle who was just as fabulous!!! They were there on time and got started right away. Alana did the make-​up while Danielle did our hair. All the make-​up looked incredible! I never knew my eyes where that blue! Make-​up felt comfortable and lasted all day even with this humidity and I was in a semi heavy dress so worse for me but it stayed… lipstick and all! She gave us a clean natural look that was just enough to give that pop you would want. I had sent pictures ahead of time of what i could possibly want from photos i found online which i did the same with my hair. All four of us had different make-​up needs with age and skin types which they had no issues with. The air brush was incredilbe. Definetely helps witht he humidity. Danielle did our hair which we had an updo, pixie syle, down style, and a waterfall braid. We had thin hair, curly hair, layered hair, medium to long hair, short. She made each one of us incredibly happy! The mother of the groom who has a pixie cut didn’t think she would get her hair done since it is so easy but after watching Danielle do our hair she was sold on how incredible she would be able to make it look which she executed beautifully!!! Being the bride i was going to worry about my hair no matter what but i have rediculously thick hair which frizzes, curls, and is just plain impossible which I relayed to Alana prior to meeting her and she said no worries which she meant. I had my reservations because of how difficult my hair is in general but these ladies nailed it! Danielle curled my hair, set it, took it out, and then Alana took over to add a waterfall braid in the back. She then added my moms hair peice to add the final touch which she had to figure out where to put some long pearl strands since my moms hair has always been much longer then mine so she pinned it to show no matter what. Not only did the make-​up last all day but so did the hair! Can’t say enough on how pleased we were with there services! Wish we could take them back with us so I could get my hair done with them on a regular basis and use them for all my special occasions! Asked the husband what he thought and he joked that i looked so beautiful that he thought he was marring a different women when i walked down and would just go with it. He has always thought i have been beautiful and they just enhanced the beauty i already have! Thank you so very much Alana & Danielle for help making my day so wonderful and beautiful! It was our pleasure to spend our getting ready time with you ladies! We loved the talking, laughs, and the beauty!

Alana is amazing and to say that is still an understatement! She makes all my clients feel cared for and comfortable and provides the best talent. She goes the extra mile and even will plug in her curling iron in her car to make sure the brides hair is perfect for pictures. Hard to beat that and when you add how fun and easy to work with you have the perfect combo. She ranks on my list as one of the top on Kauai.

Alana did my hair and makeup for my wedding on 5−1−15. She also did my mom’s and sister’s! She did an incredible job and I highly recommend her. I did not do a «Trial run», just showed her pictures of hair styles I like and she came through beyond my expectations. My hair and makeup stayed all night! I recommend airbrush because it feels light on the face but stays well. She does eyelashes too which were amazing. She was on time and worked with our schedule for the day. I wish I could do it all over again!

I lived on Kauai for a year, and I went to both these stylists. Very excited to see that they have expanded their services and client base. They are top-​notch, and a men’s cut is priced reasonably, delivered professionally, and looked great.

Thank you so much Alana for making me look gorgeous on my wedding day. She did both my mother and my hair for the wedding and my makeup. She is so fast and talented with that makeup brush! My eyeshadow and lip color was AMAZING!!! I felt like a princess. I loved how she’s very caring and checking with me to make sure I was comfortable. After our hair was done she double checked to make sure I was happy with my overall look before leaving. Everything turned out great.
