Everyone that knows me knows that I am a nerd. I’ve always loved reading and I will always love reading. Something about cracking open a good book gives me the same kind of high that others get from running or smoking crack. I might be biased because the Kouts Public Library is where I really learned to develop my love for reading but I think it is one of the best libraries that I have ever been inside. Granted, it will never be as awe-striking as the San Francisco Public Library(where City of Angels was filmed) or the Los Angeles Public Library which is story after story(no pun intended) of wonderment. It is, however, exactly what a library should be. It’s filled with areas to sit and read. It’s full of light. And it’s a beautiful structure. Oh, and it has books. It has book after glorious book. It even has the Real Food Daily(see review) Cookbook which is amazing. Support your public library. Trust me. You never know what you have until it’s gone. And when I lived in San Luis Obispo, California, I realized that not everyone in the world is blessed with a bountiful library.
