Top notch glass art from highly talented family of artists
We’ve visited the Worcester Glassworks several times over the years, always impressed with their skill and love for the craft. The glass art to us is superior to many of the art we’ve seen in Makawao at Hot Island Glass or Maui Hands (just our opinion). They use very high quality ingredients and minerals in their pieces. They now exhibit in Wailea at the Four Seasons Resort lobby current on Wednesday mornings.
The workshop and gallery is up in Kula at 4626 Lower Kula Road, not too far from the 377 Haleakala turn on 37. If you are coming from Kihei or Wailuku, check the website for directions but proceed on 37 past the Haleakala junction, and stay on the road to Kula. You will pass multiple intersections with Lower Kula Road, but when you see the sign for the Holy Ghost church, make a left onto Lower Kula road and go past the church for about a mile — the glass workshop will be to your right just after the Morihara Market and before the animal hospital.
