Dont let the ‘bait shop’ exterior fool ya. This place is one of the best lil cafes around. We love the sandwiches with home made bread and the baked goods and desserts. Very good and worth a try!!! Unless you are super duper hungry only get the ½ sandwich because a full order is enough for 2! Staff is always friendly. Clean and well kept. One of our fav places to eat!!!

On a business trip in unfamiliar area. Quick Unilocal.Good sandwich shop. Fresh homemade bread really makes the sandwich. Instead of Ruffle chips I challange the business to make homemade chips.

Charming local gem! Fantastic breakfast/lunch spot! Husband watched as they took out the flour & milk to make the fluffiest scratch pancakes I’ve ever seen. Bacon like it came off the farm. I had a turkey club on homemade bread. So glad we stopped. The place is inside the bait shop, so it’s a hidden treasure. This is right off I-24. Stop at the state park on your way back and you will thank me for the view.

Homemade bread everyday. Great. This place is great located right next to the rods and fishing lures. The food was real good even tho omelet folding is not their strength. The breakfast was good and the customers know it. We need to cone back and try a cinnamon roll because they only make them on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturdays. Wifey liked the biscuit(she only had 1) and gravy. Rose makes lots of stuff herself and we bought a jar of BBQ sauce that smelled good.

The food there was amazing; the service was even better. I had the Southwest club on their homemade jalapeño bread and my friend had the Cubanos. Upon their recommendation we also took a chicken salad to go. Great experience!

This place doesn’t look like much. It’s ¾ bait and tackle shop and ¼ sandwich shop. But they make a mean sandwich. All homemade bread. I will definitely be back if I’m down that way again

The lady who served me was an absolute sweetheart. The food came out quickly, the prices very reasonable and the portions are plentiful.

We have had a lake condo at Moon Bay in Kuttawa for 12 years and have never come across anyone who makes better homemade sandwiches. After reading several reviews, we thought we would give this place a try… Wow! How did we miss this? We picked up 5 sandwiches for a boating trip and they were awesome! The curried chicken salad, pimento(not what you normally think of) and turkey club sandwiches were all made with various homemade breads and were wonderful. When you first read the sign Bait Shop and Deli, you are not expecting high quality food. This is high quality and we will be back!

This place is actually in a bait and tackle shop, but don’t be fooled by what you see in the outside. Just so you know when you are ordering a full sandwich, it really means 2 whole sandwiches. The bread is homemade and delicious. I had chicken salad, which was a little different that your average chicken salad and that is a very good thing.
