went here on a Friday night, with very few patrons inside(not a good sign ?) The menu attached to this website does not exist, the the real menu is about 5 things. :-(very limited choices. my friend had a very small pulled pork sandwich, and I had a ½ rack of very burned & dry ribs. bypass this place… the only saving grace was the cabbage salad which was IMO A+

Not awful but nothing to write home about. Asked for sweet and low, sorry we are out of that, asked for relish for the pulled pork, «sorry we don’t carry that» asked for mayonnaise, «hmm, not sure we have any». Went to the rest room, and they were out of toilet paper, and it was a production to get more. The food was either charred black or cold or smothered in so much oil it was like drinking it straight. The Mac and cheese was so dry it wasn’t edible. First time I’ve ever met Mac and cheese I wouldn’t eat. Motzerella sticks were home made, but burned. Overall do not recommend.

Such a nice surprise and the food is very good. I suspect that this food would be perfect for a packed lunch to take to a park. Well done, simple, smoked pulled meats and also smoky chowder. When I am back in the area I will return to try the ribs.

If you’re in the mood for a great smokey, crunchy, wooden flavor this is the place to go! The chicken, bacon, roasted peppers and cheese sandwich was delicious! Salt potatoes, chicken wings yumm! And the service was better than some fancy places in the city. I can’t wait to come back here :)

CC;s Wooden Grill is a smaller, more personal type of restaurant so it is great if you don’t like big crowds and a more one-on-one atmosphere where you don’t have to wait to be waited on or sit in some holding pen gripping a pager waiting for your turn at a table. The Texas style chili is outstanding and so flavorful. I usually get«The Colleen» chicken sandwich with provolone cheese and bacon. The flavors of each element of the sandwich really compliment one another and is a great way to follow up a bowl of that chili. My Wife loves the pulled pork sandwich. As other reviewers have noted, the wonderful smell hits you as soon as you enter the building and makes you want to travel through the entire menu trying everything that could possibly be responsible for that aroma. I would highly recommend CC’s if you want something a little different and great food at a very reasonable price. UPDATE: On the suggestion of my Wife, I tried the pulled pork sandwich recently. In all honesty, that was the absolute best pulled pork sandwich I have ever tasted. It may rank as one of my all time top 5 sandwiches anywhere. I also tried the side order of roasted marinated peppers and put some of them on top of the pulled pork which just sends the status of that sandwich into the«legendary» column. So good.

Great food at a great price. Beautiful setting to eat in and very nice staff. The smell is overwhelmingly good as soon as you walk into the place. Reminds of good old fashioned BBQ but with a fun twist… their roasted peppers are delicious. I will definitely be going back!
