Chicken garlic pizza or the Hawaiian are our typical orders. Never had a bad pizza. I love that they don’t clump the toppings, they are evenly spread out. Always had friendly service and it is very quick. I don’t mind the take and bake concept. It guarantees your pizza will be hot, unlike some delivery places.

My fiancé and I just moved to the area from New Jersey a couple weeks ago and have never tried Papa Murphy’s before today. We stopped by for a free sample slice of pizza for a promotion Papa Murphy’s was having. They had a tent outside their store with multiple pizza flavors to try and a fun wheel to spin to win free prizes. We won a gift certificate for a free smores pizza to pick up and bring home. The chicken artichoke pizza that I tried was delicious! Perfectly seasoned and the ingredients tasted fresh. The staff was very friendly and informative. They told us they have an app we can download for valuable coupons and we can place our orders online. I’ll definitely be back to order soon :) and I love that the location is easy to get to right by the grocery store.

Please see my review on the other listing for the same Papa’s for the reason I will only give this fine dining establishment a single star.

We ordered a couple gluten free and one regular pizza tonight. We were very pleased with all of them. Thanks Papa Murphies! Well be back!

Great experience with the short time I was in their. I placed a call in order and arrived at the shop to friendly service staff. While having a friendly conversation the checked me out promptly and gave me advice on preparing the pizza. These pizzas are amazing so much better than anywhere else. You just having to be willing to cook it.

i guess if you don’t mind soggy crust, this pizza could be considered good. otherwise, not so much!

It’s like Subway, but for pizza. They have their own pizza recipes or you can create your own. There is one with chicken and artichokes in white sauce that is delish! Service is hit or miss, yet friendly every time. This last time Sir Tokes-a-Lot forgot to take my coupon when ringing me out. «Uhhhhh, oh. Sorry about that.» It’s all good, he gave me a punch card and punched it all the way so I get $ 5 off next time.

Had the chance to try two of their pizzas. Meat deLite and the Gourmet Vegetarian. I was impressed with the amount of meat on it; 3 kinds, pepperoni, sausage and ground beef, while other places might skimp on it, I don’t feel like they did. Aside from that, it felt like nothing special. The crust was also super thin, not my kind preference but free pizza is free. The Gourmet Vegetarian was a knockout. I think what made it great is the sauce, Creamy Garlic Sauce, 7 kinds of vegetables on it, all seem to jive together. If I ever go back, I’ll be picking this guy up. The crust was also super thin, only thing I’d change on it, aiming for original crust.

This is a great store. The concept is a little hard to get used to, but once you get used to bringing it home to bake, you are golden. This store is a generally good, but I have to agree with the comments about the teenagers. They seem to be unsupervised and sometime seem more interested in talking to each other(or other friends hanging out) than the customers. Overall, a great experience, but I caution that their customer service slips quite a bit.

Their gourmet vegetarian pizza is amazing however the staff of highschoolers can be their downfall. i went in to pick up my pre ordered pizza only for them to tell me they were out of tomatoes… they are 20 steps away from HEB … a pizza place not having tomatoes is uncalled for.

When eating the Thai Chicken pizza you may ask yourself, «how do things that taste this good exist?!» At least, that’s what I thought. I’ve had similar epiphanies while eating the Cowboy and the Chicken Bacon Artichoke Delite. Aside from their far out menu, you can also make whatever you want! My personal favorite ingredients they have are: mushrooms, garlic chunks, sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach! So fresh and yummy.

Deliciously fresh! Refreshing change from other pizza chains! Store was clean and employees friendly! Got a large with my mom and it was more than enough. She wishes there was one in Pasadena where she lives!

Tasty product, speed in which they put together the pizza… oh «God love ‘em». Don’t go in if you’re in a rush. :)

I fought this place tooth and nail… Why would I go into a restaurant and pay for something that I have to take home and cook? I’m still not sold on «Take and Bake» Pizza. Especially since there’s 4 other pizza places that will bring it to my door. Well… someone brought it to a party we hosted. I’ve got to say… they’ve got some decent pizza. The ingredients are fresh, they’ve got some good specialty pizzas that the other places don’t have(Chicken/Bacon/Artichoke and Chicago-style Stuffed), the crust is allright… and it’s a good deal for 7 – 10 bucks. Of course. if I’m driving home and want to pick up a pizza, I’ll either call Fox’s Pizza Den or drop by the Little Cesars in Buda… but I won’t throw a Papa Murphy’s Pizza out on a cold night. But… I’m still not happy with having to bake it myself. ;)

Better than any delivery I’ve had. It is not greasy and the pizzas are made with fresh ingredients, plus I can always add more toppings at home before I bake it. The staff is always nice and I can get in and out quickly. The price is very fair and there are coupons on their website and in the local paper.

Just so you know I’m pizza biased. I’m from New York, pizza capital of the U.S. So I have pretty high standards when it comes to pizza. Papa Murphy’s is not worthy of my taste buds, I tried it once and that’s all I needed. It’s a good idea if you don’t feel like cooking, on a budget, and have 0 taste buds. Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone honestly.

This is the best idea I’ve seen in a long time. At first I thought Papa Murphy’s was a stupid idea(why would I buy from them when I can just buy a frozen pizza for half the price?), but then I tried their pizza… we ordered the Cowboy specialty pizza with diced tomatoes instead of olives, and cooked it to PERFECTION – crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside(my favorite pizza crust). This was a completely different pizza experience than I am used to. It was so flavorful and delicious that I couldn’t help from overeating. The best thing of all was the price. They usually have amazing specials every week that pizza chains(even local) just can’t beat. You walk in and order what you want, watch them prepare it in 10 minutes or less then walk out with a wonderful pie. Love it!

Our family loves Papa Murphy’s, well except one, my daughter. It’s not that she does not like it, she just prefers Fox’s. Murphy’s Pizza is really good and they provide $ 1 and $ 2 off coupons all the time plus you get your Pizza Card Stamped for each pizza purchased and get one free after 10 purchased pizzas. Having this place close to HEB is really ideal, after shopping, we just pick up a pizza for dinner. The best part is NOTAX and usually the price for 1 large is below $ 10 and some specialties are on special pricing too. This has to be the best fresh home bake pizza I have ever had. Even the frozen pizza does not stack up to Papa Murphy’s Take and Bake. But, the best pizza I have ever had is East Side Pies 1401 B Rosewood Ave Austin, TX78702,(512) 524‑0933 — just try them.
