Garcie Barra family is the best Jiujitsu for my family. They are fun and great. This location is nice. Lots of shops around.
The teachers here are awesome, friendly and work great with kids. To me the staff at both location of Pasadena and La Canada is wonderful. I don’t feel that there is so much pressure for competition. This location is actually closer to me. The coach Sebastian and coach Kaori are wonderful to my daughter.
The parking is in the back and street parking.

GB LC is awesome. The only thing better than Professor Orlando and his coaches, is the awesome vibe of this clean and naturally lit academy. Whether you are looking to get into Brazilian jiu jitsu or are already training, you need to check out GB LC.

If you are around the area this is the best place to train! You will grow both physically and mentally stronger. If you want to be the best you have to surround yourself with the best! BEST BJJ school around!

Outstanding instruction (from both Orlando and the other coaches) great students, and a beautiful space. Highly recommended for new and experienced students looking for quality BJJ classes. Most classes focus on fundamentals, but competition classes are available for those looking for a bit more. The kids’ classes are also particularly good. Highly recommended!

I have been a student here for thirteen months now, and the experience has been absolutely awesome. The owner, Orlando Sanchez, is truly a class act whose passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is unmatched. The place has been totally welcoming and fun to train at. The other professors and coaches are all great people who clearly love what they do. From day one, I was welcomed with open arms and treated as if I were an old friend. And the instruction is undoubtedly of the highest quality! These guys are not only really good at Jiu Jitsu, but they teach it in a way that makes it easy to grasp. I honestly leave every class feeling like my Jiu Jitsu game has improved and advanced in some way. And wow, what a workout each training session is! All in all, I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone thinking about giving Brazilian Jiu Jitsu a try.
