Been here 6 times already. So far lost 7 pounds. Probably would lose more if I followed the diet. The program is good. Food tastes much better than Nutrisystem. Food is expensive, but you can substitute once you lose some weight and you think you can control your portions and food choices. Jackie is great! Enthusiastic and reassuring and supportive. She’s slender and dresses great. Great incentive of how you could look if you follow the program. Free parking.

BEWARE– Do not spend money on the bodymedia kit through Jenny craig. You can buy it directly through the site and amazon for $ 99 vs going through Jenny craig and paying over $ 500. I was sold on buying it through JC because they supposedly monitor you while on the program. They never ONCE plugged in my progress or even so much as asked. SAVEYOUR $$. Secondly, I loved my consultant(she was someone I would be friends with outside), BUT she was having a struggle with weight loss herself. I think that pretty much proves that this program(even for those who get to do it for free) might not work.

Love love love Jenny Craig. Before I got pregnant, I had started JC with my husband to lose or relationship weight. Or, as I like to call it, our love fat. He’d done Jenny Craig years ago and had lost a whopping 50 pounds in total. Yeah, he was a 200-something pound chubby monkey before I met him. Grand total in the couple months I was on Jenny, I lost 14 pounds. Yes, I was pretty svelte and well on my way back down to my goal weight, which was another 10 pounds. Fast forward: 6 weeks after pregnancy, I went back to lose the last 20 pounds of post-preggo weight. Finding out that my breastfeeding caloric intake was super high, I was advised to wait until I wasn’t breastfeeding any longer as it wouldn’t be worth it to start again yet. Super honest and super awesome. Which, brings me to the counselors: They are AMAZING. They don’t get angry at you and they aren’t wishy-washy when you cheat. They make you feel guilty about not completing your goals. That is always effective. It makes you want to do better the next week. And they actually care whether or not you lose. Summation? Go here. Lose weight. Look hot.
