We contacted La Conner Maritme and spoke to Mark regarding assessing questionable fuel tanks in a Grand Banks 42 boat we were considering buying. This is no small expense, whether repairing or replacing. Lots involved, including money – anywhere from $ 7,000 to $ 40,000+ and takes a lotta time. Mark agreed to meet us at the boat in La Conner and helped us determine whether we wanted to proceed with our offer or cancel out. Mark is very knowledgeable and his interaction with my engineer husband was excellent. We did decide to pass on the boat. Once this became apparent, we talked about La Conner Maritime services. He took us to their work yard and showed us around as well as viewed some boats that were in the yard. It was very educational and saved us significant money on a boat that didn’t fit our needs once we determined the tanks had to be replaced. I would recommend La Conner and Mark without hesitation. And there is a good reason that SERVICE is in their name. Its in the middle of what they do and its good. Thank you.
