Excellent Work, Great Customer Service My 1983 Grand Banks 42 Classic needed an insurance survey, 2 coats of bottom paint, zinc, impellers, and a few repairs on hawse holes and the holding tank. My boat has been in a number of boatyards over the years but Latitude is the first boatyard I’ve been really pleased with! Attention to detail, excellent customer service/communication and to my surprise, the work was done below the estimated cost. I would recommend Latitude to anyone with a boat!

I brought my 1976 Glasply to Latitude Marine Services around a year ago. The job was really big. Replace the stringer and decking along with replacing the wiring and then rewiring the whole thing. The last yard I had it at in Camano Island just couldn’t do the job. When I talked to the owner he gave me a no BS assessment of what I was up against. The task ahead of me was huge. Basically, I was rebuilding the boat from the hull up and there was going to be a million little details along the way to deal with. I was sure that this was the boat I wanted and pushed forward with the project. The team he has there at the yard are the best. From the fiberglass to the electrical and all the rest was great. The cost wasn’t cheap, but having just come from cheap I was ready for experience over cheap. The project really moved right along. If I told them what I wanted to do, then it was done. There wasn’t any hemming and hawing to figure out how they were going to do something, it was just done. In the end, the boat is finally in the water and the project for the most part is done. The sea trial was yesterday and the boat hopped right up on plane and cruised down the channel. The marine industry isn’t cheap and my personal opinion is that people who buy boats are out of their mind if they think for one second that this is something that would be a little fun on the weekends and shouldn’t cost too much money. Sell the damn thing and don’t bother with boating. Your not made for it. Cost is cost and cutting corners will catch up to you in the end.
