Nice place with great burgers and pizza. Matter of fact, they serve the biggest pizza I have ever seen! Meat loaf sandwich is awesome, but the chowder was far to salty for me to finish. Service was prompt and helpful.

Not much to rave about as far as food is concerned. BUT the service, just for the smiley and friendly service, we may return. Brittney was our server, I believe, and she was so attentive, kind, and gracious w/our messy family. Kept checking to see if we needed anything and was doing everything with a genuine smile. I really liked her! If I ever open up a restaurant, Imma come back to recruit her. Oh in case the reader is interested, some things we got: fish burger; meatloaf sandwich; and chicken club sandwich or something like that. Again, the food was meh, but I certainly appreciated the great customer service.

Although the staff is very nice. I’m not sure they actually cook anything here. I ordered the chicken club which is supposed to have grilled chicken… instead it had those frozen chicken grillers on it and kraft singles cheese! I also ordered a cup of chowder which they claim is the best in town… it must be the ONLY chowder in town. It was very watery and bland. My niece ordered the pulled pork sandwich which was mostly just fat! She had the coleslaw on the side and fries she said the coleslaw was okay(I don’t like coleslaw so I didn’t try it) her fries were pretty good. I had a salad instead of fries. Typical side house salad, but I ordered the blue cheese dressing… Delicious! Basically if you are drinking and don’t care what it’s made of, eat here if not… pass. There are way too many great restaurants in this tiny beautiful town to waste your money here!

I really wanted to like this place more than I did. I had been looking forward to trying them for quite a while. Sad to say, I found it to be a bit disappointing. First the good. The server was very nice and made us feel welcome. The service was quick. For those two things I will probably give them another try. Also, the fries were quite good. Now the not-so-good. My husband ordered the fish and chips, which they tout as the best in La Conner. He said it was okay and asked if I wanted to try it. I took one look and declined. It still had skin on parts of it, and much of it had that greyish tint of the skin. I can’t eat fish that isn’t white(it tends to be too fishy.) So the fish was a no-go for me. I had a mushroom-swiss burger, which was again, just okay. It would have been much better had it not been served on a cold bun. It was just rather bland. Also? There were several very annoying flies buzzing around the restaurant. The kind of flies that won’t stop landing on your nose, or your food, or your glass… We’ll give them another try, maybe see how the pizza is, or try something else on the menu. Very nice people, they just need to step it up a notch!

Pros – The waitress was very nice. The kids liked their burger, fries and fish and chips Cons – We both wanted pulled pork and they were out. So we ordered the Philly Cheese steak. It would have been good if they had taken the time to cut some of the fat off. Biting into chunks of fat makes me loose my appetite. How hard would it be to serve quality trimmed meat in a sandwich? I can cut the fat off a steak, but when it’s inside a sandwich and covered in cheese it’s a little late to try to trim it. Overall sandwiches are over priced for the quality of food.

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary with a day trip to La Conner and after reading the reviews we decided to get off the main tourist strip and give LC Pantry a try for lunch. We chose well. It was a very nice day so we elected to eat outside, where we were greeted by our bright and bubbly waitress. The menu has some unusual selections like a Foot Long Corn Dog! I had the kielbasa version; my wife had the fish & chips. Wow! All I can say is the food Rocks! To top off a great lunch sitting outside on a beautiful day our waitress offered us a strawberry short cake on the house for our anniversary! This was truly one of the best lunches we have ever had. Enjoyed the people, the setting and of course the food.

My husband and I had the pulled pork sandwiches for lunch today on the recommendation of my neighbor. They were sensational! The cook told us they smoke the meat for over 12 hours and then he fries it some so that it is crisper. We loved the fries as well and each of us had some draft bear. The restaurant is managed by a husband and wife team(he cooks & she does the rest). They love the community and have specials for the local high school kids who were there having pizza before soccer practice. Compared to the other restaurants in La Conner(a tourist town) their prices are realistic and the food is fantastic. Can’t wait to try one of his pizzas!

I came in here on a recommendation for the fish and chips and found out there was so much more than even that. All the food was handmade, the french fries are hand cut, the beer battered fish and chips made to order, and no stinginess when it comes to seconds thirds and even fourths. Amazing Facocia bread and Pizza. Everything I had was top-notch, the service was perfect, and John & the rest of the crew took great care of us… i will be back… frequently!

This place is has a new name and is under new management! Everything is home made and you can tell. The Ruben is on home made foccaccia. The meat is home made. There were cinnamon pull apart breads cooling on a table and we found out they were stuffed with banana ceam. YUM! The couple that owns it are friendly and great about explaining the high points of the menu, which is important since everything on the menu sounds scrumptious. My boyfriend had the Philly cheese steak and said it was the best he ever had. The clam chowder was really good too. Definitely a good place with very reasonable prices.
