I could not be happier with my experience with Angela! She is so sweet and easy to chat with, and does an amazing job! I have never gone to the same person to get my nails done and I will certainly be back!
I got the $ 20 Groupon for a gel manicure and paid $ 5 for gel removal (which are free if she did them!) My nails look amazing and I am ready to go to Hawaii!

Try this place out!!! I found out about it on groupon, $ 20 for a gel mani. It was great! I live in Alhambra and I would definitely drive to Montrose again to get my nails done here! So many color selections for gels! I’ve never seen that many before! She does really clean work and is great to talk to I had a great time and would like to go back to try something else. She also does lash extensions if you’re into that.

Angela is the best! She’s really friendly and talkative, and still does her job with care. The session wasn’t awkward or quiet like some places can be, and she understood exactly what I wanted through my vague pointing and minimalistic explanation. The only thing I would mention is that the shop is upstairs in a building across from the gas station, so keep that in mind when you’re getting there, because it was a little hard to find. Overall, a great experience at a great shop.

I cannot say enough good things about Angela! She always gets my nails just right and they really last for weeks!

My visit to Studio Rawr was amazing! I’m a busy mom; so finding time, and funds, to treat myself is rare. A dear friend recommended Studio Rawr because she loved it. I’ve always wanted to try lash extensions. It was prefect! It wasn’t until earlier this evening that I realized; what a wonderful thing I was missing. My new lashes are so voluminous, I feel like a vintage bombshell; very 1920’s Classic movie star. I have to say, I’m so happy I left most the decision making to my girl. For a first time lash extension wearer, she made me feel comfortable; and even gave me care instructions for afterward (to help them last longer). I also received the best gel manicure while there; there again my girl help me select something beautiful. My holiday wish list has been fully topped in one evening.
I can guarantee I’ll be returning very soon. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Simply put, if you want QUALITY in your nails and lash extensions, make an appointment with Angela. Her nail/​lash studio is so cute, it’s totally pink and totally girly.
Right now, she is the only person who does nails in her own studio, so it’s quality without feeling rushed or beating people in the door. Appointments only!
Lash Extensions — Make sure you reserve time in your day for this. Quality and she has the latest and greatest Classy, D, C, and L curls. She’s on top of the lash game, so mention what type of curl you want and she delivers. She can make it really natural or over-​the-​top BAM!
Lashes last for over a month, then I’m ready again for another fill (it’s addicting, help me stop hehe).
Nails — Initially, Angela mentioned that she didn’t want to do regular polish because her focus is on gel nails, but she does it all. I’ve referred many to get their Kylie Jenner matte, pointy claws on.
I’ve seen her work and whatever you have in mind, she can pretty much be an artist on your nails. I can literally let her do her thing and I’m happy with the results at the end.
There are so many times when I went to a nail shop (aka chop shops) and quality was not delivered. This is probably the only place I will be a regular at.
UgGgghhh, it’s the greatest thing in the world with lash extensions. I barely wear any makeup and cuts my getting ready time to 5 minutes (HA!). It’s the BEST!
