Stayed 2 nights here, when my father passed away. Quiet room, warm, comfortable, quiet, and the nicest guy in the world running the front desk. The room was great, but the service, and care displayed by the staff was even more outstanding.

I’ve been calling the posted number for this business for days. 818−248−1294 I can’t raise anybody. I suspect this business, is out of business. Too bad. I was going to stay there while I visited my brother.

Enjoyed the room, the guy in the office however changes what could have been a cool place, his energy makes me not wanna stay there again.

The room was good but that guy at the counter was SO… I don’t want to use any negative words. We stayed there for two nights and a week later we realized we need to collect all receipts for our accommodation of the month so the insurance may reimburse for us. We called every single place we stayed, which is about 20 places and they all willing to help, emailed or mailed or faxed, BUTTHISONERIGHTHERE… said«Call your bank they should be able to provide you a statement.» …Not going back for that kind of energy! I prefer to drive 4 miles more to Tujunga to Travel Inn for $ 50/night.

Very interesting place to stay. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The price was good, especially for a long term stay. The staff was very nice. I really enjoyed my stay here.

I’ve stayed here several times, great place for a good price. Very good, safe, beautiful area. The room is clean and well furnished, the bed is not very comfortable though, tip: when you sleep dont sleep with the pillow… it’s a lot better on your neck. Also I wish they had«do not disturb signs». Love it here though and I will stay here again in the future.

Was looking for a motel/hotel location for one evening as close to an early morning business appt as possible, at a budget rate, so as to not expend time and aggravation driving in from elsewhere in LA. La Crescenta Motel was the only option in the neighborhood, but it perfectly suited my purposes. Older style motel, but the one bed was just fine(Rm #3, queen size). Bathroom simple and clean(no tub, just shower stall). Bath towels not as paper thin or sandpaper as other like motels might be. True, no soap, shampoo etc amenities provided, but I travel with my own. Room has small fridge and micro, cable tv with many channel options, old style wall heater and a/c in the window. Also a desk with chair, an other sitting chair. Various eating options in walking distance. Would certainly stay here again!

I give this a 3 ½ star as you will see at the end of the review… It’s like one of those«hourly rate style» motels but costs twice as much… similar to the scene from«No Country For Old Men» when Josh Brolin’s character is killed. One of the key advantages to this motel is the fact its the only one in the neighborhood. I approached the office expecting a key deposit of $ 5 and a $ 22 dollar charge for four hours or $ 31 for the entire night. While in the office, I looked over my shoulder to make sure there wasn’t a condom dispenser on the wall. :) Don’t get me wrong though… Bed was very comfortable and room was extremely clean. Great shower and the maintenance upkeep is superb. Old style gas heater and it does have A/C. Limited TV channels, no phone directory, not even a bible. Has a microwave and a fridge with Ice. So if your date gets rambunctious or defiant, just make another drink… lol I phoned the motel earlier on my arrival day and had to leave a message. I wanted to confirm my reservation and establish my check-in time. I read and heard that the location fills quickly and since I was going to check in fairly late in the afternoon I didn’t want any issues. I expected a return phone call but unfortunately it never came. So I took my chance and checked in when I could. I arrived and check-in went smoothly, I guess the prerequisite was that my name was on the note pad. :) On my arrival there happen to be no soap in the room… minus ¼ star. (No problem, I always come prepared.) Slightly pricey for what is offered… minus ¼ star. No return phone call from a reserved customer… minus 1 star. I would patronize again, as its the only one in the area…

Office closes at 10pm and make reservations in advance, don’t underestimate their lack of advertising – this place is always full! Room #10 has two bedrooms for the same price and room #4 has the worlds most UN-comfortable bed!

prefect for out trip to the Rose Bowl. 1940s ranch style motel where the owner works there. rooms were vintage and clean. one of the quietest motels I have ever stayed in. very comfortable bed. Ralph’s and Starbucks walking distance from the motel. only 5 miles from the Rose Bowl. Nice local dive bar called Up The Hill only a few blocks away. easy freeway access. pleasant residential, low retail neighborhood. If you’re a vintage enthusiast, you like this place. if you’re not, go somewhere else.
